Luke isn't worried about being the flashiest name on the floor. He is focused on doing whatever it takes to help his team win, and that mindset shows every time he steps on the court. Luke describes himself as a do-it-all guard who loves to play in transition, and that couldn't be a more accurate picture of the way he attacks the game. His nonstop motor, gritty mentality, and willingness to battle on every possession make him a constant problem for the opposition. Whether he's racing down the floor for an easy basket, creating offense with his defense, crashing the boards, or making the extra pass, Luke always seems to find a way to impact the game from every angle.

His season with B3 Elite was another step forward in his development. Averaging around 16 points and 2.5 steals per game, Luke became a reliable scoring threat while making life miserable for opposing ball handlers. One of the performances that stood out came during the NXTPRO Finals when he finished with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. When asked what stood out most about that game, he immediately pointed to the points he created off steals and how well he shot his free throws. That answer says everything about the way he approaches the game because he understands that defense creates offense, and taking advantage of every opportunity can completely change the momentum of a game.

Another memorable moment came when he exploded for 35 points with B3 Elite. While putting up that many points is impressive, what meant the most to Luke wasn't the scoring total, but watching his team play together and earn a big win. That team-first mentality continues to shine through in everything he says and everything he does, showing that winning will always mean more than individual recognition.

One of the biggest improvements in Luke's game has been his three-point shooting. Countless hours in the gym are paying off as he becomes more confident and consistent from beyond the arc. Adding that weapon to an already versatile game makes him even tougher to defend because opponents now have to respect him from deep while still dealing with his ability to push the pace and attack in transition. Even with that improvement, he isn't satisfied. His offseason is focused on continuing to become a better shooter while adding strength so he can compete even more effectively against bigger defenders.

Every athlete faces adversity, and Luke's biggest challenge has been being a little undersized for his position. Instead of looking at that as a disadvantage, he turned it into motivation. He learned that success comes from working harder than everyone else, developing new scoring moves, and finding creative ways to attack taller and more athletic defenders. That mindset has helped shape a competitor who welcomes challenges instead of running from them.

Behind the scenes, the work never stops. Luke spends time training with his high school program, his AAU team, and on his own because he knows improvement doesn't happen only during games. Every workout, every shooting session, and every extra rep is another investment toward becoming the best version of himself. That commitment to the grind continues to fuel his growth and gives him confidence every time he steps onto the court.

Ask Luke what a coach can expect, and the answer is that they can expect someone who is coachable, gives 100 percent every possession, and never backs down from hard work. Those qualities are just as valuable as points on the scoreboard because energy, attitude, and toughness have a way of lifting everyone around you.

As he looks toward the upcoming season, Luke's goals are locked in on helping Coppell compete for a playoff spot while continuing to be a savvy defender and consistent three-point shooter. Fans can expect to see a more confident, stronger, and more complete guard who is determined to keep improving and do whatever it takes to help his team succeed.

I assess that Luke brings energy, toughness, and a winning mentality every time he steps on the floor. He impacts games in ways that don't always show up on the stat sheet by defending with intensity, attacking the boards, creating turnovers, and making smart basketball decisions. His improving outside shot, high motor, and willingness to embrace every challenge make him an athlete who consistently helps his team compete.

Luke's ceiling continues to rise because of the work he puts in long before game day arrives. His commitment to improving his shooting, adding strength, and expanding his overall game gives him every opportunity to keep making major strides. Combine that relentless work ethic with his team-first attitude and competitive fire, and expect another impressive leap as he continues building his game and helping Coppell pursue a successful season. Stay tuned.
