Angel is a fierce point guard with great court vision, a high IQ, and ability to break down defenses off the bounce with strong handles , whether it’s finding the open man or creating his own shot. Angel has really nice touch from outside and is extremely aggressive and can score when he chooses to attack the rim. Angel hives on getting his teammates involved and controlling the tempo of the game.. Angel is also a solid defender in his own rite.

The most motivating thing for Angel this past season that will push him moving forward was coming up short in the CIF section semifinals. That feeling of being so close, yet not finishing the job, fuels his drive to work harder and ensure they push past that barrier this year. Angel's goals for next season are to take on a larger leadership role, lead his team to a championship, and continue to develop his game in ways that will prepare him for the college level.

Playing AAU basketball with the Coastal Elite in the 3SSB circuit Angel's goal in AAU was to sharpen his leadership skills and improve his decision-making in high-pressure situations. Angel is also focusing on improving his consistency from beyond the arc and his defensive intensity.

What fuels Angel the most is competition. Angel loves the feeling of pushing himself to his limits, and that willing to do anything to win.

When things don’t go his way, Angel stays calm, keeps his focus, and trusts the work he has put in. Angel has learned that adversity is just part of the game, and how you respond to it is what defines you.

Coaches can expect a player who leads by example, brings energy on both ends of the floor, and never shies away from the moment. Angel is someone who takes pride in making the right play and being the hardest worker on the court.

Angel sees himself playing at the D2 level because he believes he has the work ethic, skill set, and mental toughness to compete against the best. However, Angel is open to any division that allows him to develop further and contribute to a winning culture.

Angel already has played for the Mexican National Team and holds interests from Northern New Mexico, Wheaton college, Dean college, Judson university,.

I assess that Angel is certainly a prime time performer and will excel on the next level. Angel's intangibles merit a D2 potential but as he continues to develop and elevate his skills everyday , Angel is pushing to thrive at the highest level he can.
