Cason is a smooth and reliable scoring guard who brings consistency, composure, and a natural feel to the floor. His game is built on good footwork, smooth release, and the ability to find open space for high-percentage jumpers. Whether it’s curling off a screen, pulling up in the lane, or spotting up beyond the arc, when he sets his feet, it’s usually money. He thrives in rhythm, reading defenders and sliding into gaps to knock down shots or attack the rim with a composed finish. He’s become more aggressive in getting into the paint, squaring his shoulders, and converting through contact with either hand, proving that he’s more than just a shooter. Off the ball, he stays engaged, competes on defense, and rebounds out of position, showing his willingness to hustle and help wherever needed.

Cason averaged 13 points per game as a junior while earning 1st Team All-Region honors for the second consecutive season in Georgia’s tough Region 1-6A. That type of back-to-back recognition validates his reliability and growth. His biggest improvement this past year came from expanding his finishing game, getting downhill more often, attacking lanes with purpose, and learning to finish stronger at the rim. This offseason, he’s focused on taking more threes off the dribble, getting to his spots with greater urgency, and adding physicality to his finishes. Playing AAU for Cam Sports, his goals are to get better every time out, use each tournament to prepare for a strong senior season, and step into his final year ready to lead and leave a mark.

What fuels Cason’s fire is when he or a teammate gets hot, he feeds off the energy, builds momentum, and becomes even more dangerous when he starts cookin'. But it’s in adversity where his character truly shines. He remains composed, steady, and aware of his role as a leader. One of the best pieces of advice he’s ever received came from his father, who told him, “You can’t expect anyone to feel sorry for you.” That message fuels him; he doesn’t make excuses, and he just keeps going. Off the court, Cason enjoys time with family and friends, staying grounded in the things that keep him balanced and focused.

I assess that Cason is a smart, efficient guard who knows how to get buckets, create space, and make smart plays within the flow of the game. His combination of steady scoring, defensive effort, and leadership makes him a reliable contributor for any college program looking for a player who can stretch the floor and keep things under control.

As he enters his senior season with more confidence and purpose, expect Cason to elevate his game once again. The foundation is solid, the work ethic is proven, and the leadership is there. With continued growth and opportunity, he’s ready to turn heads and earn his shot at the next level. Expect a breakout season where the mission is to make a statement with purpose and passion. Stay tuned
