Harrisburg HS, IL

Grayson is a physical guard built for attack mode, using his size and speed as a weapon just as much as his scoring touch. He punishes defenders by forcing his way to spots, carving up seams, and finishing through contact with authority. His ability to get downhill and still control the play separates him. He is strong enough to take bumps and still get buckets, smart enough to keep defenses honest with sharp reads and smooth dimes. With a high IQ and confidence to make plays in any situation, he thrives as a versatile weapon who can dictate tempo, set up teammates, and carry an offense when needed.

Last season, Grayson averaged 13.4 points, 3.2 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game, showing just how complete his game is. His bounce has been his biggest improvement, adding another dimension to his attacking style, and he’s now focused on developing a quicker, more efficient release without dropping the ball. Recognized as an All-American at camp, his efforts are being noticed at higher levels, and his biggest goal moving forward is leading his team to a regional title. His constant drive to evolve, whether it’s finishing stronger, speeding up his shot, or tightening every detail, shows a player locked in on growth and success.

Grayson’s edge comes not just from his physical style, but from his mentality. He faces adversity with poise, never shying away from pressure, and always finding ways to impact the game on both ends. He talks on defense, hustles for every loose ball, and holds himself accountable to keep his team locked in. The best advice he has received is “Be who you needed when you were younger.” Living by taking that to heart, he works with others on their shot, offering guidance and encouragement to teammates who need it. Off the court, he enjoys spending time listening to music and Friday night football games with friends, keeping the same fire but with balance.

I assess that Grayson’s ability to combine strength, speed, and scoring makes him a guard who can instantly boost a college program’s backcourt. He has the toughness to finish through contact, the smarts to dissect defenses, and the vision to set others up. Programs looking for a player who can attack relentlessly while still elevating those around him will see his value immediately.

Grayson is a guard who will not only sustain his production but expand it. Expect him to keep punishing defenders with his attacking style, while improving his shot mechanics and continuing to grow as a playmaker. His potential lies in being a dependable, physical leader who can carry stretches of games and change momentum with effort and skill. Simply put, Grayson is the type of player who can tilt the floor in his team’s favor every night. He is hungry and determined to make a statement this upcoming season that he belongs on the next level, and leading his team on a deep postseason run while doing it. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
