Calvin is another versatile, athletic wing that is dominant on both ends of the court. With a high non-stop motor. With unlimited range, Calvin is a sniper with a smooth touch. Calvin is crafty and a strong ball handler and loves to explode off the bounce and put on a dunkfest playing above the rim. That first step is a killa with blowby speed and an array of finishing moves, but his strength is that mid-range shot where he simply dazzles at elevating right over helpless defenders. Calvin can face up or play strong with his back to the basket, simply a three-level wrecking crew. Calvin has mastered mixing his length with that elevation to be certain that shooting will always be a weapon to rely on inside and out. Calvin uses a high IQ and court vision to find teammates cutting to the rim or breaking open for a shot. On the defensive side of the ball, Calvin has great anticipation instincts, whether it is getting steals in the gap or blocking shots. Calvin is also a real force mixing it up on boards.

This past season Calvin averaged 17 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 block. The most motivating thing that happened last season that will push Calvin moving forward was losing in the first round of the playoffs with his high school team, in a home game which they where they had a good lead and just took our foot off the pedal, it was embarrassing for Calvin,. Calvin never wants that to happen again, and it pushes him every day to be able to be the guy who can score when they need it. Calvin's goals for high school are to make a run in the playoffs and have a breakout year. The amount of shots he gets is going to increase, and Calvin is putting in the work to make those shots.

Playing AAU for Wisconsin Playmakers. For this past summer session, Calvin feels they had an up-and-down season because there would go where it felt like they could beat anybody, but then there were games that they lost to teams they shouldn’t have. he wants to become a far more consistent team.

What fuels Calvin on the court is his competitiveness; Calvin hates losing and is willing to do whatever he can to win every game that he competes in. He believes they have a chance, whether it is AAU or high school, to win every game. Winning isn’t everything that keeps Calvin going, though; Calvin also loves seeing his teammates succeed and seeing them knock down a big-time shot. It’s all about making his teammates better with me.

Calvin leans on his teammates that he built relationships with when he handles adversity. Calvin knows his teammates well enough to trust them that they will pick him up, and he knows when his teammates are struggling, Calvin will be right there to help them and pick them up. Calvin also just keeps his composure and tells himself that he earned this. Calvin has worked hard for this and goes back to prior times when he has felt his best on the court, and that helps him make that next big play.

A coach can expect a fierce competitor from Calvin who hates losing in practice, in games, and in the game inside of the game. A coach can also expect a consistent scorer, rebounder, and defender, whatever he needs to do to win. Calvin plays selflessly and is always looking for a better shot.

Calvin believes he is a D1 basketball player, feeling that he can compete at the highest level of collegiate basketball and wants to do so more than anything; Calvin will always work hard on and off the court but would also love to play at the D2 level and would consider D3. Calvin wants to compete at the collegiate level, but he wants to do so at the highest he can.

I assess that Calvin is a scoring machine with crazy speed and athletic ability. Calvin plays at such a high level now and he is only going to elevate his game even more. Calvin has unlimited potential. Calvin is a steal that will impact any program. This gonna be a show to remember. Stay tuned.
