Cason may be small in stature, but his game packs a punch that commands attention. A cold-blooded sniper from well beyond the arc, parking lot style. Cason forces defenders to pick him up the moment he crosses half-court. His fearless shooting range stretches defenses thin, while his crafty vision allows him to zip dazzling passes through tight windows and thread dimes over longer defenders with ease. What separates Cason from the pack is his ability to play bigger than his frame, using space, timing, and a high IQ to beat pressure and create opportunities. Coaches can expect a gritty, heady guard who spaces the floor with precision, competes relentlessly, and never backs down from a challenge. Don't let the size fool you. Dynamite still comes in small packages.
This season, Cason averaged 10.3 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals per game, stepping into a larger role with improved ball-handling and savvy decision-making. His biggest improvement was in his ability to move off the ball, recognize spacing, and trust his shot in real-time flow. This offseason, he’s laser-focused on developing his ability to absorb and initiate contact, pressure opponents full-court, and keep defenders guessing with more fluid, reactive ball-handling. His breakout came not from a single game but a daily grind, staying in the gym after every game, being the last one to leave, and living in the lab. That work ethic gave him a new level of confidence, knowing he outworked everyone in the room.
Cason plays his AAU ball for Team Phoenix, where he’s striving to lead his squad in scoring and assists en route to a deep run at the New Balance Tournament. He’s most excited for their final two events in St. Louis and Memphis, ready to leave a statement on the travel circuit. With this being his third year running with some of the rising seniors, Cason is determined to make their final season together count. He plays with fire, and nothing fuels him more than proving doubters wrong. Every time someone underestimates him, he locks in harder and shows them why he belongs.
When facing adversity, Cason embraces it as fuel, knowing that the struggles are part of the rise. His mindset is rooted in growth; if there’s a low, it only means he’s climbing. The best coaching advice he’s received is that the best player on the floor is the one who lifts his teammates up, and that’s exactly what he does. Cason isn’t just focused on scoring but on impact.
I assess that Cason’s elite range, sharp passing instincts, and relentless mindset give him immediate value in any system. His ability to play beyond his size, read the floor, and make teammates better is rare for his age. Add in his defensive pressure and leadership, and he becomes a glue guy with game-breaking ability.
Cason is pushing toward a breakout campaign. His tireless work ethic, ever-expanding offensive arsenal, and passion for proving people wrong make him a dangerous, rising point guard. Expect him to keep elevating, keep delivering, and keep rewriting the expectations, one deep three at a time. Stay tuned.

This is awesome, this not only means a lot to Cason but to me. As Casons brother I know what he puts in and inspires me. I may be taller then him but i definitely look up to him. I’m happy he is not going un noticed he deserves it. Thank you so much
