Colton is a matchup problem in every sense. A lethal three-point sniper with unlimited range, explosive off the bounce, and fierce finishing power at the rim with nasty throw downs, he brings pressure the moment he touches the ball. His athleticism pops, his strength shows, and his edge never fades. Defenders have to pick their poison, because give him space and it’s rain, crowd him and he’s going through you, not around you. He plays with grit, force, and confidence, and that DOGG shows up on every possession.

What separates Colton is his two-way impact. He is a relentless, disruptive defender who can lock down 1-5, switch everything, and still protect the rim as a strong shot blocker. His college-ready body allows him to absorb contact and impose his will, while his motor keeps him active on the boards and in passing lanes. Offensively, he is more than a scorer. He can drop dazzling dimes, make the extra read, and keep teammates involved while still applying nonstop scoring pressure. Coaches get a physical, competitive leader who plays to win and gives everything he has every time he steps on the floor.

Colton is currently a starter for Team Scoot PRO16, one of the hottest teams on the sponsored PRO16 circuit after winning 9 of their last 10 games. He also starts for Newberry High School, a small public school ranked #6 in Florida on MaxPreps, competing at the highest level despite limited resources. He personally is the number three-ranked guard in the state. His biggest improvement came from offseason work that added 5.5 inches to his vertical, unlocking his ability to finish above the rim, catch lobs, and punish defenders with authority. He continues to focus on expanding his creativity off the bounce and developing point guard skills to make his game even more complete.

The goals are clear. Newberry High School is chasing a Florida state title. Team Scoot PRO16 is chasing a PRO16 circuit championship.

What fires Colton up most is winning, plain and simple, and giving everything he has to make that happen. When facing adversity, he locks in, trusts his coaching, trusts his work, and gets dialed in with his teammates to flip momentum together. That mindset has already earned him four offers, along with heavy interest from the Patriot League, ASUN, Ivy League, and MAC.

I assess that Colton brings a blend of size, strength, shooting, and defensive versatility that can immediately impact a college program. His ability to stretch the floor, guard multiple positions, and compete physically gives coaches flexibility on both ends of the floor while raising the toughness and intensity of the lineup.

Moving forward, expect Colton to continue expanding his ball skills and offensive creation while maintaining his edge as a defender and finisher. With his work ethic, competitive fire, and physical tools, he has the potential to grow into a high-level two-way piece who helps drive winning at the next level. Stay tuned.
