Dylan is a smooth, athletic weapon who brings quickness, court vision, and a pure shooting touch to every matchup. He’s the kind of guard who demands attention the moment he crosses half-court, quick off the bounce, vocal in leadership, and locked in from beyond the arc. With a long frame, natural instincts, and a confident touch, Dylan stretches the floor, hits big-time shots, and isn’t afraid to take charge. But what separates Dylan from most guards in his class is how he blends explosiveness and awareness as an aggressive perimeter threat who also sees the floor like a true floor general. Whether he's calling out coverages, setting the tone defensively, or raining clutch threes, Dylan plays with the poise of a seasoned playmaker and the hunger of a player with something to prove.
This past season, Dylan averaged 12.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game while knocking down 38% from deep and converting at a 75.4% clip from the free throw line. He made major improvements in his shooting, particularly from three-point range, and elevated his overall efficiency as a scoring option. Now, the focus shifts to becoming a more complete guard. That means tightening up his ball-handling, locking in defensively, and building his confidence to stay aggressive no matter the matchup. He’s not shying away from the challenge. With a coaching change at Rosholt, Dylan sees an opportunity to step up, lead from the front, and help build something special.
This AAU season, he’s playing with UTC Fire National 16U-Black and embracing the grind head-on. He’s focused on becoming more assertive offensively, attacking early, and pushing the pace. With events like the Prep Hoops Wisconsin State Tournament on deck, Dylan is determined to stand out, flexing his shooting, athleticism, and underrated vision in front of scouts and coaches. He’s putting in work, not just to perform now but to lay the foundation for something bigger at Rosholt and beyond.
What fires Dylan up the most is that high-flying moment, rising for a dunk, shifting momentum, and sending a message that he’s here to compete. But when the energy dips or adversity strikes, he knows how to stay locked in. The best advice he has ever received is, "Keep your head up. Act like you’re the best player on the floor, even when you don’t feel like it." That quiet confidence drives him, fuels his workouts, and shapes how he leads.
Off the court, Dylan enjoys playing football in the fall, fishing during the summer, and lifting year-round to stay strong and ready. He’s more than just a shooter but a dedicated athlete, a smart playmaker, and a rising leader with the tools and tenacity to make waves.
I assess that Dylan’s shooting range, vocal leadership, and athletic ability make him an ideal fit for programs seeking a guard who can space the floor, energize a team, and impact both ends of the game. His vision and willingness to improve round out a player with high value.
As Dylan continues to build strength and confidence, expect his all-around game to evolve quickly. With his blend of IQ, athleticism, and shooting consistency, he has the potential to become a complete two-way guard who can lead and light it up at the next level. Stay tuned.
