Gabe is a fierce, versatile guard who plays with poise, precision, and a relentless fire that burns brightest when the stakes are highest. As a smooth three-level scorer, he punishes defenses from deep, mid-range, and at the rim with equal force. His ability to create space and knock down tough shots makes him a nightmare to guard, while his feel for the game and high basketball IQ elevate everyone around him. Gabe sees plays before they unfold, hits the open man with confidence, and has the kind of body control that lets him finish in traffic against bigger defenders. What truly sets him apart, though, is his ability to thrive in pressure moments—he feeds off intensity and turns chaos into opportunity.
This past season, Gabe averaged 18.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2 steals per game. His biggest improvement was the mid-range, where he’s now deadly off the bounce and more consistent than ever. Even a fractured finger on his shooting hand couldn’t hold him back, instead, it fueled growth. Forced to the sideline, he studied the game from a new angle, improved his off-hand, and came back stronger, smarter, and more dangerous. Now, he’s locked in on improving his left-hand finishing, ball control, and building strength with a focused upper-body weight program.
This AAU season, Gabe will be playing for the San Antonio King Hoops 2028 Gold Team with a mission to elevate his stats and leave his mark on every stop of the circuit. With big goals of averaging 16 points, 5 rebounds 5 assists, and 2.5 steals, he’s especially excited for the spotlight of Made Hoops South Mania in Tulsa, Recruit Look in Kansas City, and the AAU World Championship in Orlando. For Gabe, it's about rising to the moment, no matter the setting. Next season, he’s hungry for stronger competition and tougher environments because that’s where he thrives.
When facing adversity, Gabe turns to his faith, using every moment, win or loss, to ask what God is teaching him. That grounding is what makes him different. His calm under pressure, his trust in the process, and his gratitude for the grind fuel his fire. And with his favorite coaching advice, “a missed good shot is NOT an error”, he plays free, fearless, and full of belief.
I assess that Gabe brings high-level scoring instincts, elite composure, and a sharp understanding of the game that makes him stand out. His ability to read the floor, make timely plays, and stay aggressive on both ends gives him serious long-term value for college programs looking for a reliable and dynamic backcourt presence.
With a fierce work ethic, growing physical strength, and a next-level mindset, Gabe is evolving fast. Expect a breakout AAU season followed by a dominant school year. As he continues to develop his body and expand his offensive bag, his ceiling gets higher with every rep and his impact will be felt wherever he plays. Stay tuned.
