Kyle is a fierce downhill attacker who plays the game with controlled aggression and purpose every time he steps on the floor. As a versatile two-way guard, he combines physical drives to the rim with efficient outside shooting while bringing relentless defensive intensity on the other end. His ability to pressure defenses off the bounce forces defenders to collapse, opening scoring lanes for himself and opportunities for teammates. Kyle plays with the mindset of a competitor who refuses to take any plays off. Every trip down the floor is an attack, every defensive possession is a challenge he welcomes, and every moment on the court carries the energy of a player determined to impact the game in multiple ways.
What separates Kyle is the balance he brings between scoring punch and defensive grit. His downhill style allows him to slice through defenses with strength and control, while his shooting touch stretches the floor and punishes defenders who give him space. On defense, he carries a presence that disrupts rhythm, using anticipation and toughness to pressure ball handlers and fuel transition opportunities. He thrives in the chaos of competition, where effort, instincts, and competitive fire become the difference between winning and losing.
Kyle will be playing with Mamba Elite on the AAU circuit this season, where his explosive attacking style and two-way presence will continue to develop against strong competition. The focus for his development is to continue building his all-around game while perfecting every part of his craft. That hunger to grow shows in the strides he has already made. One of his biggest improvements has been his ball handling and his ability to get to his spots on the floor with confidence and control. That progress allows him to attack defenses more effectively while expanding the ways he can impact the offense.
His junior season story carries both victories and adversity. Kyle battled through a devastating Achilles injury that required surgery and sidelined him for more than half the season. Instead of defining him, that setback became fuel. Even with the injury, Emmanuel Christian Academy finished with a remarkable 22'-2 record, riding a 22-game win streak while taking the conference championship with a perfect 10-0 and reaching the district finals. Watching his team achieve that success while he battled through recovery only deepened the fire within him.
The energy of the crowd and the success of the team are what ignite Kyle the most on the court. He feeds off that atmosphere and channels it into effort that elevates everyone around him. When facing adversity, his mindset remains steady. He trusts his teammates, stays focused on the next play, and refuses to allow one moment to define the next. That mental toughness is the heartbeat of competitors who understand that the game rewards resilience.
Faith plays a powerful role in Kyle’s life and in the way he approaches the game. His relationship with God stands at the center of everything he does. Through injury, recovery, victories, and setbacks, that faith keeps him grounded and focused on the bigger purpose behind the game. It fuels his work ethic and reminds him that every opportunity to step on the court is a blessing. Giving God the glory for both the highs and the hardships has shaped Kyle’s mindset and continues to guide his journey forward.
The hunger burning inside him now is impossible to ignore. Missing a large portion of his junior season has only intensified his determination to come back stronger, more complete, and ready to prove what he is capable of. Kyle is already hearing from several D3 programs along with a couple of NAIA schools, and with his relentless drive and expanding skill set, that recruiting attention is likely only the beginning.
What lies ahead for Kyle is a player hungry to reclaim every moment he lost and turn it into motivation. The foundation of skill, toughness, faith, and relentless determination is already in place. Now the stage is set for a comeback season fueled by hunger, growth, and unfinished business.
I assess that Kyle brings a valuable combination of downhill attacking ability, efficient perimeter scoring, and defensive toughness that allows him to impact the game on both ends of the floor. His improved handle and ability to get to his spots have elevated his offensive rhythm, while his competitive nature shows through his defensive effort and physical play. The adversity he faced with an Achilles injury also reveals a level of resilience and mental toughness that coaches look for in players who can withstand the demands of higher levels of competition.
Moving forward, Kyle is poised to be a guard whose game can continue to expand with experience and physical development. His aggressive style, strong work ethic, and faith-driven mindset position him to grow into a reliable leader and playmaker. As he returns fully healthy and continues refining the details of his all-around game, college programs can expect a player who competes relentlessly, elevates team energy, and embraces every moment of competition with purpose and determination. Stay tuned.
