When the lights come on and the ball tips, one thing becomes clear very quickly. Braxton plays the game in attack mode. Every possession feels like it could end with the ball splashing through the net because scoring is simply what he does. Crafty with the ball in his hands and fearless when the moment demands it, he has become one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in Kentucky high school basketball. His ability to score from all three levels makes him extremely difficult to guard. He can stretch defenses with his outside shooting, rise up in rhythm with a smooth middy, or explode downhill and finish at the rim, even through contact. When he finds his rhythm, the points pile up quickly.

Yet what makes his game even more dangerous is that he refuses to be one-dimensional. Braxton brings relentless energy every time he steps on the floor. He crashes the boards aggressively and has a natural instinct for gobbling up rebounds, often turning offensive rebounds into immediate second-chance points. His court vision allows him to see the floor well and deliver timely passes that keep teammates involved. On the defensive end, he stays active with quick hands and anticipation, creating turnovers that can quickly shift momentum. That combination of scoring, rebounding, playmaking, and defensive pressure allows him to impact nearly every possession.

The production over the last two seasons tells the story of a player who consistently stuffs the stat sheet. Last season, before transferring to Martin County, Braxton was putting up staggering numbers with averages of 34 points and 10 rebounds per game while carrying a massive scoring load. This season at Martin County, playing within a stronger roster and team structure, he has continued to dominate, averaging 33 points and 9 rebounds per game while also adding 5 assists, 3.5 steals, and multiple triple-doubles.

Those performances helped power a strong year for Martin County as the team had 22 wins while capturing the All-A Region Championship and making a deep run to the Elite 8 of the All-A state tournament. Game after game, Braxton proved capable of taking over offensively while still impacting the game, checking every box.

His impact has not gone unnoticed nationally. Braxton carries a 4-star rating and has been generating major buzz across recruiting circles as one of the most productive guards in his class. Already holding 8 DI offers, he continues to attract attention from college programs across the country who recognize the value of a player capable of dominating a game in so many different ways.

The achievements surrounding his career continue to grow as well. Braxton recently crossed the incredible milestone of 3,000 career points, a rare accomplishment that reflects both his scoring instincts and the consistency he brings every time he steps on the floor. Even with all of the recognition, the mindset remains grounded in the work. Braxton continues to focus on improving every part of his game, including speed, strength, ball handling, and overall development. This spring and summer, he will be playing with KY Ambition on the Made Hoops Circuit with clear goals to win on the circuit and continue building his recruitment with additional offers before making his college decision.

I assess that Braxton is an elite offensive weapon whose scoring instincts and relentless attacking style place enormous pressure on opposing defenses. His rebounding effort and ability to create for teammates expand his impact beyond scoring, while his defensive activity generates additional opportunities for his team.

Braxton is poised to be a high-impact guard at the next level because of his ability to produce in multiple areas of the stat sheet while maintaining elite scoring output. Guards who can dominate offensively while still contributing as playmakers and defensive disruptors bring tremendous value to a college program. As he continues to develop physically and expand his skill set, his ceiling remains sky-high,, and his production suggests he will remain one of the most watched players in the Class of 2027 moving forward. Stay tuned.
