Charlie is a low post dominator and space eater with his length.. Charlie is a blue-collar diamond with nice footwork and relentless energy scoring, wiping the boards clean on both ends of the court, and loves to throw himself block parties with great timing and anticipation skills.

The most motivating thing that happened last season that will push Charlie moving forward is the UA Rise event in Chicago. After having an awesome circuit run, they went into that tournament and took an upset loss in the opening game, which was the most humbling experience of the year. Charlie never wants to go through that again. The lesson is always to bring the fire with the understanding that a hard loss can come at any time, so you must take every opponent and every game like a championship you don't want to lose..Charlie's goals going into his sophomore season are to be more of a scoring impact, a better rebounder, and the best teammate he can be while making sure the chemistry of the teams flows as one. Charlie's other goal is to be a major impact on the defensive end knowing defense wins games and can be his biggest contribution to his team's success.

Playing AAU for the WI Playmakers, Charlie's goals for 25 are to average 10-15 points and at least 12 rebounds per game. As a team, Charlie wants the team to excel, especially in the live periods; reflecting on this past AAU session, Charlie wants to focus on improving his ball handling and outside shooting.

What motivates and fuels Charlie's fire the most on the court is his intense passion to win or when the other team talks a lot of trash, he wants to let his game shut them up by taking it to another level. And if that doesn't work Charlie trusts his coaches to fire him up.

Charlie handles adversity on the court by taking a couple of deep breaths and not getting caught up in any others. When things aren't going Charlie's way, he knows there are other ways to impact a game helping his team win, even if his A game is a bit off.

Charlie feels what sets him apart from others is his coachability and hunger to learn as he listens and processes, and translates the coach's instructions on the court in real time quickly. Charlie also feels his fire for the game and passion to win with his willingness to do whatever it takes to secure that win.

Charlie sees himself playing at a high level D2 or possibly a lower level D1 because of his size and defensive tenacity with a fierce post game. However Charlie knows there is much work to be done and he has plenty of room to improve but thinks once he becomes more effective shooting from the arc he can get to any level he chooses., knowing he has to stay humble and put in that work.. Charlie could see himself playing at a lower level too knowing at the end of the day, just having the opportunity to play anywhere on the next level is a blessing..

I assess that Charlie is just beginning to scratch the surface of how good he can be and his willingness and hard work to expand his game will have a huge impact on his growth and development. We don't really see biggs that love the post gritty blue collar work with intense attention to defense and rebounding anymore which puts Charlie in a rare class in itself.. Charlie has an extremely bright future ahead and watching this young star blossom and reach his full potential will be must see tv. Stay tuned.
