Chris is building his game around toughness, versatility, and the belief that every possession matters. He describes himself as a combo slasher who can impact the game in several different ways, but what separates him is the energy he brings every time he steps on the floor. Whether the shots are falling or not, Chris refuses to let his energy change because he takes just as much pride in locking up on the defensive end as he does attacking the basket. His aggressive mindset, willingness to compete, and determination to help his team win make him the kind of teammate every coach loves to have when the game gets physical and emotions start running high.

His high school season was filled with moments that helped shape his confidence and prepare him for what comes next. One of the biggest experiences came against Douglass, where the atmosphere, intensity, and pressure gave him a taste of high-level basketball. Another unforgettable memory came when he scored 19 points against Tates Creek while their student section let him hear it all night, turning the noise into motivation instead of letting it become a distraction. Chris walked away from the season with an important lesson that continues to guide him every day because he believes every opportunity is earned, and once it arrives, the only choice is to make the most of it.

That mindset carried right into AAU with KBC East, where Chris averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 to 3 assists while continuing to expand his game. He accomplished one of his biggest summer goals by becoming much more aggressive offensively and learning how to use his size and strength to attack defenders instead of settling. Every tournament gave him another chance to grow, compete against talented opponents, and prove he could make an impact in more ways than simply putting the ball in the basket.

The biggest improvement in Chris's game has come as a playmaker. While attacking the rim remains one of his biggest strengths, he has worked hard to improve his passing and become much better at finding open teammates. That growth has made him even more dangerous because defenses now have to respect both his ability to score and his willingness to create easy opportunities for everyone around him. Off the court, earning All-Region Academic Team stands as one of the accomplishments he is most proud of because it reflects the discipline and commitment he carries both inside the classroom and on the hardwood.

This offseason is all about removing weaknesses and becoming a complete guard. Chris has put a major focus on developing his right hand because he refuses to become predictable or allow defenders to force him in one direction. His goals are just as big as his work ethic, as he hopes to become a true all-around force while averaging 20 points, 6 assists, and 5 to 6 rebounds during the upcoming season. Those numbers are not simply dreams in his mind because they represent the standard he has set through countless hours of preparation.

The work behind the scenes tells the real story. Chris spends his time running miles, getting stronger in the weight room, and surrounding himself with people who push him to become better both as a basketball player and as a young man. Even with everything he has already accomplished, he believes there is still another level waiting to be reached, and that hunger keeps him coming back every single day.

His biggest motivation has nothing to do with personal attention because family is the driving force behind everything he does. Chris wants to create a future where the people who have sacrificed for him can finally relax and enjoy the rewards of his hard work. Every time he steps on the floor, coaches can expect a spark whether it comes from scoring, making a big defensive stop, delivering the extra pass, or bringing the energy that changes the flow of a game. He embraces every role because winning has always been bigger than individual numbers.

Looking ahead, Chris believes the best version of his game is still being built. He recently turned 16, continues to grow physically, and knows there is plenty of basketball still ahead of him. Expect to see a confident leader, an unselfish teammate, and a relentless competitor who refuses to back down from any challenge. As his game continues to expand and his confidence keeps climbing, Bryan Station may be watching the rise of a guard whose biggest moments are still waiting around the corner.

I assess that Chris has the tools to impact games on both ends because of his aggressive style, improving vision, physical strength, and willingness to compete regardless of the score. His ability to attack the paint, defend with purpose, and continue developing as a facilitator gives him several ways to impact winning.
