With the size to bully his way to the rim, the skill to handle the ball like a guard, and the shooting stroke to stretch the floor, Davien is a matchup nightmare who can also pick up full-court with intensity. What separates him from others at his position is his motor, he doesn’t just play hard, he plays with purpose. Coaches can expect a fearless competitor with a high ceiling, a strong frame, and a quiet fire that turns into full-blown flames on the court.

After a devastating ankle injury right before the season, Davien could’ve folded. Instead, he sat in a chair in the gym and shot at a wall for hours on end, day after day, refusing to let pain stop his progress. That discipline paid off in a major way. He returned stronger, faster, and more dangerous than ever, improving his shooting and stepping into a scoring role for McAlester. He averaged 11 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1 assist with a 49.5% effective field goal percentage, proof that the work speaks loud and clear. His offseason focus is all about winning and locking into that “dawg” mentality no matter what adversity comes his way. With the Tulsa Hustlers on the AAU circuit, Davien is locked in on getting exposure and elevating his teammates along the way. He’s not chasing one tournament but looking for competition across the board.

Looking ahead to next season, Davien is fired up to lead a young squad into battle. Growth, chemistry, and toughness are the focus—and he’s determined to be the one who sets the tone. He handles adversity by staying grounded in gratitude, remembering the positives, and leaning into the work.
