Christian is a fierce, electric defender whose explosive first step and aggressive instincts fuel chaos the moment the ball is snapped. Built with a violent motor and fast-twitch reflexes, he flies off the edge with controlled fury, disrupting plays before they ever have a chance to develop. Whether it’s reading the end man on the line or recognizing the quarterback’s intent, Christian processes the field with quickly and unleashes his energy with bad intentions. Every time he steps on the field, he brings the kind of grit, violence, and urgency that coaches dream of. He’s not just sudden but relentlessly urgent, a tone-setter who thrives on getting his defense off the field and lighting a spark for his team.
Last season, Christian had over 40 tackles, 6 quarterback pressures, 3 pass breakups, 2 sacks, and 1 fumble recovery, proving he doesn’t need a full-time spotlight to make a full-time impact. One of the biggest moments of his football life came when he earned a starting varsity spot as a sophomore at powerhouse DeMatha Catholic. That honor became his fuel. Since then, he’s been locked in on becoming even more disruptive this fall. His offseason is focused on one thing: becoming the complete defensive weapon, working on timing, explosion, and understanding the details of blocking schemes so he can play even faster. His biggest improvement was learning how to stay composed in chaos. When facing adversity, he runs through the fire, never backing down, never blinking.
Christian sees himself playing DI football, whether at the FCS level or pushing into a Power 5 program. He’s willing to grind for it all and understands the level of discipline and drive it will take. He’s not worried about being overlooked but focused on being undeniable. His message to younger players chasing the same dream is, “Focus on your own destiny, not anyone else’s.” What he looks for from a program is genuine hospitality, a place where he’s not just tolerated but truly welcomed and valued. The best advice he’s ever received was to be a physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual warrior; he’s striving daily to live that out.
I assess that Christian’s high-energy motor and aggressive play style make him an ideal disruptor at the next level. His ability to quickly diagnose the play and explode into action gives him a chance to be a consistent third-down killer. Coaches can expect a relentless competitor who doesn’t just bring effort; he brings game-changing moments. His combination of suddenness, field IQ, and raw drive can immediately strengthen any defensive unit, especially those that value physicality, tempo, and edge presence.
Christian is just scratching the surface of his potential. As he continues to grow into his frame and evolve the finer details of his technique, expect him to emerge as one of the more dangerous defenders in his class. His mindset, toughness, and hunger to dominate are traits that can’t be taught, and they make him a future anchor for a collegiate defense. Once his new season kicks off, the right school watching will see a fast-rising playmaker ready to make noise. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
