Oliver is the definition of a certified bucket. A natural-born sniper with a flamethrower from deep and the footwork to stop on a dime and bury a shot in a defender’s face, he’s become one of the most dangerous weapons in Wisconsin’s 2027 class. Whether he’s stepping into a three, pulling up with a punishing middy, or slicing through defenders off the bounce, he delivers buckets with confidence and flair. He plays with poise, a high IQ, and a fierce competitive edge, constantly moving, constantly creating. But what truly separates Oliver is his toughness in big moments, when the lights are bright and his team needs a shot, he’s locked, loaded, and fearless. From scoring at all three levels to leading with intensity, this rising star brings more than just points, he brings winning plays.

Coming off a breakout sophomore year, Oliver averaged 16.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting a blistering 43.2% from three and 50.5% from the field. His biggest improvement came in the midrange, turning what used to be a limited part of his game into a go-to weapon, especially with fadeaways and off-the-dribble shots. His elite efficiency earned him Second Team All-North Shore Conference honors and validated his status as one of the best scorers in the state. This offseason, he’s locked in on improving his agility and ball handling to take his game to an even higher level.

Oliver plays for Chapman Basketball Academy and is currently torching the Pro16 circuit. During the Wichita Live Period, he exploded for 21.5 points per game while shooting, scorching 62.3% from the field and 50% from three, helping lead his team to a 4-0 weekend and extending their overall record to a perfect 16-0. I was impressed last weekend with his performance in a dominant win over a loaded Wisconsin Playmakers squad, where he dropped 17 points, grabbed 3 boards, and picked up 2 steals. Now, his sights are set on the Pro16 Finals in Texas, where he’ll once again look to lead from the front and deliver when it matters most.

Oliver thrives in competition. He lives for the intensity, the pressure, the back-and-forth battles that separate the good from the great. He’s looking forward to taking on a bigger leadership role at Homestead next season and knows that the work he puts in daily, both mentally and physically, will guide him through any adversity that comes his way. His favorite advice was, “Don’t think, just play.” And when he does, it’s poetry in motion. Off the court, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying locked into school with a 3.7 GPA, and relaxing with movies, TV, and NBA2K.

I assess that Oliver brings elite-level shooting, a deep scoring bag, and the mentality of a winner. His ability to impact the game without forcing plays, combined with his work ethic and IQ, makes him a plug-and-produce option for high-level programs looking for a scorer who delivers under pressure.

There’s no ceiling in sight for Oliver because of his unlimited potential. With his confidence, leadership, and continual development as a playmaker, he’s evolving into one of the most complete and efficient guards in the region. He’s more than a shooter, he’s a fierce competitor who raises the level of everyone around him. Expectations are sky-high for an even bigger breakout season ahead than ever. Stay tuned.
