Jenesis plays with controlled fire. He is a smart, fast, and aggressive guard who brings high energy to both ends of the floor, the kind of player coaches trust from tip to buzzer. Defense is where he sets the tone, constantly moving on defense and keeping pressure on the ball, creating pressure, and make steals with purpose. He embraces the grind of locking up his opponent and making life tough for them. On the offensive side, Jenesis can score it from all three levels. Whether it’s spotting up for a jumper, pulling up off the dribble, or attacking the rim with purpose, he brings a balanced and efficient scoring style. He stays vocal, locked in, and willing to do whatever his team needs to get the job done.

One of Jenesis’s biggest improvements this past season came from slowing down the game and learning to operate at his own pace. That control has allowed him to become a more efficient scorer and a more dependable decision-maker. This offseason, he’ locked in on tightening his left hand, building confidence using it under pressure, and getting stronger and quicker through consistent training. His mindset is competitive and unshakable; he’s motivated by the chance to go head-to-head with the best. He’s been tested in AAU action, where his goals were to improve, compete, and win. And he did all three, pushing himself, helping his squad succeed, and walking away better than when the season started. Next season, he’s looking to elevate leading with his voice, elevating his teammates, and chasing a state title.

What separates Jenesis is how he mixes intensity with intention. He doesn’t try to do too much but never takes a play off. He leads by example, competes with pride, and shows up ready to battle every game. Coaches can always expect effort, accountability, and a player who puts team success above everything else. The best advice he’s been given, “play with passion and purpose”, shows up in how he approaches the game and how he carries himself off the court. Whether he’s getting extra reps, staying engaged during film, or volunteering with younger kids at school, he’s focused on growing in every area of life. Off the court, he enjoys time with family and friends, playing video games, and reading. 90staying grounded while working toward bigger goals.

I assess that Jenesis brings a strong mix of defensive toughness, vocal leadership, and efficient scoring. His ability to stay locked in, compete at a high level, and play within a system makes him a valuable guard in any program. He’s not just focused on buckets but focused on impact.

Expect Jenesis to keep growing into a complete two-way player. His pace, mindset, and work ethic give him a solid foundation to build on. As his strength and skill continue to improve, he has the tools and attitude to lead his team and make noise at the next level. Stay tuned.
