Kody is an electric three-point sniper who stretches defenses. A true spot-up shooter with deep range, a silky smooth touch, and no hesitation, he punishes late closeouts and makes teams pay for even the smallest breakdown. His speed and athleticism allow him to be more than just a perimeter threat. He mixes it up on the boards with toughness, defends with a fierce edge, and brings a nonstop motor that refuses to cool off. He is scrappy, competitive, and locked in. Add in good court vision and the ability to drop timely dimes when defenders overcommit, and you have a guard who impacts the game far beyond the arc.
This rising star put on a show at the @WVSHOOTOUT and made it clear he has gone to another level. In his first matchup against Boyd County, he had 16 points while making 4-5 from three, torching the defense with rhythm and confidence. In the second game against Parkersburg Catholic, he elevated even more, going off for 22 points while adding 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 blocks, flashing his two-way impact and competitive fire. Through 15 games this season, Kody is averaging 13.4 points per game with 46 made threes while shooting 45% from the field and a blistering 42% from three, and over his last 4 games, he has raised that number to 17.4 points per game. The growth is obvious, and the production backs it up.
His biggest improvement from last season has been confidence and conditioning. Countless hours in the gym have strengthened belief in his shot, and leaning out while getting quicker has allowed him to play harder for longer stretches. He is not just shooting better, but moving better, competing longer, and bringing energy on every possession. What fuels his fire the most is his teammates. When everyone is contributing and battling together, that collective edge pushes him into another gear. When facing adversity, he stays calm, controls the controllable, and treats every obstacle as an opportunity to overcome.
This summer, he will continue building momentum by playing with Martinsburg High School in team camps and summer league, sharpening chemistry, and continuing to prove he can produce in big moments.
I assess that Kody’s shooting ability alone forces defenses to adjust, but his motor, defensive intensity, and rebounding from the guard spot make him even more valuable. Programs looking for floor spacing, competitive toughness, and a guard who embraces big stages will see how his confidence and conditioning translate into immediate impact.
As his body continues to get stronger and his off-the-dribble game expands, expect his scoring versatility to grow even further. With the way he is evolving and the belief he now plays with, Kody is positioning himself to become one of the most dangerous perimeter threats in his class while continuing to raise his stock with every performance. Stay tuned.

I like reading your reports as you highlight the strengths, weakness, and the potential. Great job on helping these kids get exposure and let me know if any of them want to play in college.
