Banner is a dynamic stud who can bring the rain from beyond the arc with a silky-smooth touch, knocking down shots at a high percentage. But he’s far from just a perimeter threat—his versatility shines through with explosive finishes off the bounce, making him a dangerous weapon at all three levels. Crafty with the ball in his hands, he creates his own shots with ease, forcing defenders into tough decisions. His high basketball IQ and elite court vision allow him to deliver dazzling passes, keeping defenses on edge. Whether it’s mixing it up on the boards or locking in as a strong defender and shot-blocker, Banner makes an impact in every phase of the game.
Using his AAU session as a tune-up, Banner averaged 20 points per game, drilling four threes a contest while making his presence felt on the glass. Now, deep into the season, he’s putting up 15 points, grabbing five rebounds, and dishing out around three assists per game. Banner's goals are to keep pushing his game to a new level, get his teammates involved, and continue being a leader on his team. Banner's biggest improvement from last season is his athleticism and ability to handle the ball under pressure, which has helped him take a major step forward, making him even more of a threat with the rock in his hands.
The numbers speak for themselves—season-high 30 points, multiple 20-point outings, and invitations to top-tier camps like OTR Exposure, USA Gold Camp, and Rucker on Wood. But what truly fuels Banner’s fire is the energy of the game itself. Whether it’s his team going on a run or a teammate stepping up with a big-time play, he thrives on those electrifying moments. When adversity hits, Banner refuses to fold, pushing even harder and keeping his focus on the end goal. The best advice he’s ever received is that the best players have the shortest memories—no dwelling on the last play, just staying locked in and ready for the next big moment.
Off the court, Banner finds excitement in water sports like wake-surfing and skiing, and he enjoys playing guitar for his church. That balance between intensity and relaxation helps shape the player and person he continues to become.
