Eli is a lethal three-point sniper who combines a high basketball IQ with incredible playmaking abilities. With a knack for dazzling his teammates and fans alike, he’s a master facilitator who thrives on creating opportunities. Eli’s court vision is second to none, allowing him to deliver jaw-dropping passes while keeping defenders guessing. Fierce and scrappy, Eli’s relentless motor fuels his ability to grab rebounds and play lock-down defense. He keeps opponents in front of him, battling physically and mentally with opposing guards, proving he’s more than just an offensive threat.

In AAU play, Eli showcased his all-around game, averaging 14 points, 5 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals per contest. While those stats speak volumes, Eli’s focus this year is on developing his leadership, becoming more vocal, and holding his teammates accountable. His resume already shines, with accolades like a full basketball scholarship to Lee University, All-Area and All-Tournament team honors, and being named to the All-Huntsville Metro team. This season, he’s determined to add even more achievements to his name.

Eli and his Huntsville High teammates have one mission: win a state championship. Their approach? Maximize their potential, leave nothing on the table, and make every day of their senior year unforgettable. Individually, Eli aims to earn another All-Area nod and lead his team to glory. He knows success will come from unity and treating every game as if it’s their last.

One of the season's biggest highlights is the Huntsville City Classic, a tournament known for its electric atmosphere and fierce competition. With plenty of returning talent from last year’s Final Four run, Eli is confident his team can make a deep push. But he understands it’ll take daily commitment, relentless effort, and a “hunter” mentality, as emphasized by Coach Schweers, to go the distance.

Eli’s game starts on the defensive end. Locking in and setting the tone with his defense fires up his motor and fuels his offense. He also credits his teammates and coaches for their unwavering support during tough times, reinforcing the unselfish culture of his program.

Eli lives by two powerful pieces of advice: “You miss every shot you don’t take,” which drives him to take risks and embrace challenges, and “Control what you can control,” which reminds him to focus on effort, toughness, and selflessness.

Outside of basketball, Eli finds joy in pickleball, golf, and sand volleyball—activities that let him step away from the court and refresh his competitive spirit. As he prepares for his next chapter at Lee University under Coach Bubba Smith, Eli is confident in his ability to thrive in the D2 conference and become an even greater player over the next four years.

Eli is not just a scorer or a defender—he’s a leader, a playmaker, and a fierce competitor with his sights set on leaving a lasting legacy.
