Seth is a big, left-handed guard with a sniper’s range, explosive athleticism, and a versatile skill set that makes him a matchup nightmare. His smooth touch from deep is lethal, especially in spot-up situations, but he’s far from just a shooter. Seth brings size, bounce, and defensive instincts, allowing him to protect the rim and guard multiple positions. His passing, shot-blocking ability, and physicality on both ends give him a rare mix of finesse and grit. He plays with confidence, poise, and a high motor, always looking to make the right read or deliver a dagger three. When he’s in rhythm, especially after knocking down his first one, the rest might as well be automatic. Coaches can count on him to bring a team-first mindset, composure, and relentless belief that every shot is hitting the bottom of the net.

Despite missing eight games due to injury, Seth averaged 13.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and nearly one block per game in 18 games, finishing with 248 total points and tying the school record with 10 triples in a single game. He returned just in time for the regional championship and made an immediate impact, hitting a clutch triple in overtime to help Ritchie County punch its ticket to the state tournament for just the second time in school history. That moment, fresh off a foot injury, was proof of his toughness and ability to deliver under pressure. His biggest improvement this past season was his control, learning to play with tempo, rather than racing through plays. That maturity has made his offensive game even more dangerous.

This offseason, Seth is locked in on expanding his bag, improving his ball-handling, developing a middy, and becoming a more complete shot creator. He’s also working on getting to the rim with power and finishing above it with authority. During AAU, he took on a leadership role and embraced being more vocal, facing elite competition that elevated his approach and transformed him into a more well-rounded player. He now enters his junior year ready to chase history, looking to break the school’s three-point record outright, throw down his first in-game dunk, and help his team earn their first ever state tournament win in Charleston.

What fuels Seth is the feeling after the first three goes in. Once that rhythm hits, it’s lights out. He’s fired up by momentum, thrives on confidence, and uses adversity as fuel to keep pushing. If he misses a few shots, he remembers his favorite advice, “Goldfish Memory”, and instantly turns the page, staying locked in on the next play. His passion for the game runs deep, and he truly believes he has the potential to be one of the best shooters in the state.

Off the court, Seth is constantly training, whether in the weight room, running cross country, or working on his game. He enjoys disc golf, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with the people who mean the most to him. Every part of his life reflects his love for competition, growth, and the journey.

I assess that Seth’s ability to stretch the floor, block shots, and impact the game in multiple areas makes him a valuable asset to any program. He’s a confident shooter with great size, a developing handles, and the mindset of a leader. He checks boxes as a scorer, defender, and teammate, bringing a complete package every time he steps on the floor.

With his work ethic, passion, and ongoing development, Seth is on track to become a standout name in West Virginia hoops. As he continues building his shot-creation and physical strength, expect him to evolve into a dominant force, one who can change the outcome of games on both ends and thrive at the next level. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
