There’s something electric about the way Ryan plays. He doesn’t explode onto the scene with noise but with impact. A smooth, lethal shooting guard with a silky smooth touch from the perimeter and a fierce, composed tempo, Ryan knows how to control a game without forcing it. He’s a dynamic weapon who doesn’t need the spotlight to shine, his skill speaks loud enough and clear. Whether he’s curling off a screen and letting it fly or dancing with a defender before pulling up, his shot is as pure as they come. But don’t mistake him for just a shooter; this crafty guard can grab a board, push the tempo, make a sick read, or drive the lane with an explosive burst of force that’s caught defenders off balance all season. His versatility has become one of his most dangerous traits, calm under pressure, precise in execution, and always reading the floor like a chess master.

This AAU season, Ryan is averaging 18.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks per game. That growth has come not just from confidence, but from a transformation: four inches taller, stronger in the weight room, and more physical around the rim. His biggest improvement has come as a driver, attacking the paint with purpose and power. Ryan is focused on elevating his defense. Locked in with a trainer for a summer packed with weight training and explosive plyometric work, Ryan is committed to becoming a lockdown defender next season. And playing under the legendary Coach Danny Broussard—fresh off coaching the McDonald's All-American West team, has lit a new fire inside him. His goal is to be great on both ends and chase down a state championship with everything he's got.

On the AAU circuit, Ryan splits time between Hub City Hoops and Cenla Hoops, both filled with familiar faces from STM. Hub City will keep him close to home with in-state events, while Cenla gives him the platform to shine in bigger out-of-state tournaments. He’s especially eyeing opportunities in Dallas and Houston, where competition runs deep and exposure can be earned. His goal this summer is to elevate his game and be seen. With his expanding skill set and confidence rising, there’s no doubt he’ll turn heads.

Off the floor, Ryan loves to fish, a slower pace that balances the fiery energy he brings to the game. It’s no surprise that he enjoys the focus and patience of it. Just like fishing, his approach to basketball is all about feel, timing, and knowing when to strike.

I assess that Ryan is a versatile weapon built for winning basketball. His outside shooting is elite, and his growing ability to create off the bounce makes him tough to contain. He rebounds well for a guard, knows when to push or slow the tempo, and thrives in motion. He sees the floor with clarity, plays with purpose, and doesn’t waste dribbles. His presence can energize an offense and steady it when needed.

Ryan’s impact on a college program starts with his scoring ability and expands through his poise, decision-making, and toughness. His size at the guard spot adds defensive value, and his dedication to improving physically shows a player willing to put in the work. Coaches will love his understanding of spacing, movement, and pace. As he becomes quicker and more physical, his game will elevate even further.

Ryan is climbing fast. His combination of shooting, toughness, and IQ already makes him one of the most intriguing 2027 prospects in Louisiana. With a big summer ahead and a state title chase on deck, expect him to emerge as a name that belongs in college conversations. The fire is lit, and the best is still to come. Stay tuned.
