Rylee is explosive and fearless, bringing a high-powered game fueled by aggression, passion, and an endless drive to compete. He thrives on contact, loves to get downhill, and attacks the rim with authority, using a smooth, middy pull-up punisher and a dependable catch-and-shoot three to keep defenders off balance. His scoring arsenal is already dangerous, but his hunger to expand it is what sets him apart. Every time he steps on the floor, Rylee brings intensity, fire, and a next-play mentality that energizes both teammates and the crowd.
Defensively, he’s a crafty disruptor with quick hands and great anticipation, racking up deflections and steals while taking pride in locking up his assignment. His on-ball consistency was his biggest improvement this year, and he’s far from satisfied. With goals to quicken his footwork and shot release, he’s focused on becoming even more efficient and explosive on both ends of the floor.
This past season, Rylee averaged 14 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.2 steals per game, ranking 3rd in the area in scoring while finishing top-7 in field goal percentage (48%), three-point percentage (38%) and free throw percentage (75%). His consistency and impact were undeniable, with a 28-point, 6-rebound performance to clinch a regional playoff berth standing out as one of the season’s signature moments. But what meant just as much to him was setting the perfect screen that freed up a teammate to knock down a game-winner, proof of the selfless, team-first mindset that drives him.
This AAU season, Rylee is playing for the Fairfax Stars (HGAL), looking to win tournaments, level up his game, and earn the attention of college coaches. He’s circling Big Shots Myrtle Beach as one of the biggest opportunities to showcase his skill set against top talent. And when he’s not playing organized ball, he’s still hooping, whether it’s pickup at the gym or grinding solo, the game is always calling.
As he eyes his senior year, Rylee’s determined to take on a leadership role, guide Millbrook back to the regional playoffs, and chase down the 1,000-point milestone. But more than anything, he wants to keep growing. Whether it’s hitting a big and-one or knocking down a clutch shot that gets the gym buzzing, Rylee thrives in the big moments and lives for the next one.
I assess that Rylee is a of two-way threat every coach wants on the floor when the game’s on the line. His ability to score from multiple levels, combined with his instincts on defense, makes him a versatile asset who can impact the game on both ends. He plays with toughness, grit, and an unselfish edge that elevates those around him. His consistent shooting percentages show he’s efficient, while his hunger to improve shows he’s nowhere near his ceiling.
With continued development in his shot speed, footwork, and confidence, Rylee is poised for a breakout senior season. His potential to lead, score, and defend at a high level will make him an immediate contributor at the next level. Expect him to continue making noise on the AAU circuit and carry that momentum straight into a strong final high school campaign. He’s built for big moments. Stay tuned.
