Andre is a quick, confident guard who plays with heart, speed, and a purpose bigger than basketball. His speed off the dribble, feel for the game, and natural shooting touch make him a threat any time he’s on the floor. With a high IQ and explosive first step, he knows how to create space, find scoring windows, and make plays without forcing it. What separates Andre is his hunger; he wants it just a little more than everyone else, and he’s willing to work for every inch. Whether he’s getting downhill, knocking down shots, or battling for boards, he plays with pride and persistence.
He averaged 20 points per game on JV before earning his way to varsity midseason after the Allen Tournament, where he went on to average 6 points, 2 assists, and 3 rebounds per game. That move up was a major moment for Andre, confirming what he already believed, the work he put in mattered. His biggest improvement has come in his confidence, trusting his game more, knowing the time he’s spent grinding is showing up when it counts. Now, he’s locked in on tightening his handles, getting quicker, improving his bounce, and sharpening his left hand. One of his personal goals is to be dunking by senior year, and he’s putting in the work to make that happen.
This spring and summer, Andre is playing for Prolific, an Arkansas-based program. His AAU goals are all about growth, gaining even more confidence, getting back into a competitive circuit, and earning the attention he knows he deserves. But he’s not just chasing numbers. For the next high school season, Andre’s mindset is focused on impact, starting on varsity, playing consistent minutes, and helping his team win with effort, defense, and decision-making, even if the scoring doesn’t always come.
What fuels him most is being able to play the game he loves, knowing that all the extra hours and hard days are shaping who he is. When things aren’t going his way, he relies on his faith and discipline. He turns to God, puts his head down, and goes back to work. The best advice he’s ever received came from a coach who told him: “Keep working, no matter what the results are.” Andre lives that every day. He knows the offer will come, but even when it does, the job still won’t be finished. His mission is to keep working, keep believing, and keep rising.
I assess that Andre brings energy, quickness, and a scoring punch that can shift momentum. His commitment to improving the finer details of his game, footwork, consistency, and left-hand development shows a player with real upside and discipline.
Andre is a motivated guard with strong instincts and a fearless attitude. As he continues to build strength, improve his handles, and grow as a leader, he’s positioning himself to become a reliable contributor at the varsity level and beyond. Expect a breakout season from him. Stay tuned.
