Alex is a dynamic floor general who brings a complete and electric skill set to the court. He’s a lethal three-level scorer with smooth footwork, a strong handles, and the ability to break down defenders in any setting. Whether he’s raining deep threes, attacking off the bounce, or thread the needle passes through traffic, Alex is always in control. His court vision, feel for the game, and poise under pressure make him one of the most complete young guards in Florida’s 2027 class. What separates Alex is his ability to facilitate and score within the flow of the game, he makes the right plays at the right time, lifting his teammates and striking fear into opposing defenses with his balance of scoring and distribution. Alex mixes it up well on the boards and is a fierce defender, validating himself as a high-level two-way force.
This past season, Alex averaged 18.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 2.1 steals per game while shooting a lights-out 42% from three. In his first varsity season, he proved he belonged by using his added strength and confidence to make an immediate impact. The work paid off in a big way: he was named FACA 2A District 11 Player of the Year and took home the Male Athlete of the Year award for his school. His offseason focus is on elevating his physical tools, increasing speed, vertical, lateral movement, and overall conditioning while also developing his voice as a leader both on and off the floor. His goal isn’t just to play well; it’s to lead well.
In AAU play with Maurice Acker Basketball Academy (MABA), Alex has stepped up in every setting. Over Memorial Day weekend at On The Radar Hoops, he averaged 23 points across four games, including a 32-point explosion to open the event. He’s showing coaches exactly what he brings, a confident scorer who elevates his team while keeping the game flowing. His main goal this July during the live period is to earn his first college offer, and if he keeps producing at this pace, that moment is coming.
What fires him up most are game-shifting runs, momentum plays, and the kind of moments that swing emotion, like a teammate throwing down a dunk or forcing a timeout after a dominant stretch. When facing adversity, Alex listens to his tight circle, accepts honest feedback, and blocks out distractions. He understands that growth requires discomfort and is willing to face it head-on. The best coaching advice he’s received is, "Don’t play different for anyone watching, just play your game." That keeps him grounded and fearless, no matter the stage.
I assess that Alex offers the total package: scoring, facilitation, maturity, and discipline. His shooting percentages and floor command make him a fit for systems that value ball movement, spacing, and composure. He’s a reliable backcourt piece with long-term upside.
Expect Alex to keep building momentum with MABA and return next season ready to lead Foundation Academy on a deep postseason run. His confidence, work ethic, and versatility put him in position to earn offers and emerge as one of Florida’s premier guards. After a statement season and a strong summer, he is on track for another breakout season ahead. His potential is sky-high. Stay tuned for another monster run.
