Electrifying Effiency: The Ultimate Athletic Floor General With a Little Swag

Cruz Isaly @cruz_isaly ... Instagram- @cruzisaly_3 , 6ft, 165, c/o 25 from Williamstown High  School  is an electric young athlete that is the ultimate floor general that is certainly a team first point guard with a high IQ and incredible court vision he uses to make some dazzling passes.. Cruz is extremely athletic  and a great teammate too. Scrappy and fierce on both ends whether its attacking the rim off transition or in the flow of the offense to create shots for himself or his teammates. On the defensive end where he is always in lockdown mode. Rarely does anyone score on him as he is tenacious and with that nice speed getting around him is no easy task.  The bonus is Cruz is the best rebounding guard in the state of WV in my opinion..Extreme hustle nonstop with that high motor that fuels his team. Don't sleep on his outside shooting though cause he will burn you in a flash from downtown. Playing for Vision Elite this AAU session Cruz has set the goal to gain exposure and interest to open more doors for an opportunity to play at the next level as he showcases all the skills he can bring to your team. In the @VEAHoops Cam Jackson Showcase last weekend I was so impressed with his consistent development and how much he has improved since the beginning of last season. Cruz wants to showcase his leadership by making the right decisions , passing , and competing on a high level on both ends. Added emphasis will be working harder at scoring at all three levels. I saw all this last weekend but he has really increased his vertical jumping ability well. Defenders beware not long now and Cruz will be looking to make you his poster. And Cruz handles adversity  well  with a NEXT PLAY mentality. He has learned it's critical to not dwell on mistakes or challenges and to put his energy towards Winning the NEXT PLAY.  He also  learned that body language is important.

Coaches should know Cruz is a proven leader and winner as he helped his team make a really deep run this past season and was 1st Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-State averaginAveraging 9 pts, 5 ast, 4 reb, and 1 steal per game.  His HS team has won 19, 25, and 21 games respectivley the three years he has lettered. What fuels the fire in Cruz the most is winning . No better feeling than beating his opponent in all areas of the game. No one plays harder or outworks Cruz on the court and he excels in the classroom too. with a 4.0 GPA. Cruz in my assessment is strong D2 talent with a very high ceiling as his intense work ethic never stops. Very coachable and can adjust to any system quickly.  But Cruz isn't locked into any division level but more concerned with fit not just with hoops but also academics and socially.  If a great opportunity comes along I'll entertain it.  Cruz has already been  able to garner a lot of attention after last season from D3 and D2 schools. This is a result of his performance at the State Tournament as well as his spring and summer seasons.  This allowed him to see that  hard work and dedication was beginning to pay off.  This will be a breakout summer and senior season to remember yall. You heard it from me first. Stay tuned.
