Brady is the definition of versatility, a skilled forward who can dominate the paint yet stretch the floor and beat you from beyond the arc. With size, soft hands, and smooth footwork, he plays with a physical presence inside but is just as comfortable pulling defenders outside to rain threes or attack off the bounce. He thrives on using his length to rebound, contest shots, and finish through contact, while also showing impressive comfort with the ball in his hands on the perimeter. A player who can score in multiple ways, rebound at a high clip, and initiate transition opportunities, Brady is proving to be one of the most complete forwards in Kentucky’s 2028 class.
This past season, Brady had to play behind four seniors and an all-state guard, averaging 4 points and 4 rebounds per game. When the spotlight came in the state championship tournament, he showed exactly what he was capable of scoring 11 points and adding 8 boards in both the Final Four and championship game. His improvement has been undeniable. He’s added muscle and elevated his perimeter shooting, becoming a real threat from beyond the arc. In summer action, he put up standout performances, including 23 points on 5-of-8 from deep, and a 24-point outing where he hit 6-of-9 from three and grabbed 7 rebounds. Those numbers speak to his ability to stretch defenses while still bringing physicality inside.
Brady’s development has focused on ball handling under pressure, explosiveness, and quickness, and he has continued to expand his offensive tools while becoming a more dynamic defender. His mentality is built on effort and attitude, controlling what he can and trusting that hard work pays off. The best advice he’s received from a past coach is, “Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard,” and his relentless focus proves he’s living that out daily. Recognized as a Top 20 All-Star at the @NextUpRecruits Showcase, he’s been praised for raising his skill level, looking more comfortable on the perimeter, and showing the ability to barrel his way into scoring spots with physical play.
As Brady prepares for his junior high school season, he’s ready to step into a major role as a leader at Great Crossing. He’s excited to display the skills he’s worked tirelessly on and to help push his team toward big wins. What fires him up most is when the entire team is clicking, the fans are hyped, and everyone shares in the success. With his ability to play inside-out, rebound, defend multiple positions, and lead by example, Brady is ready to take the next step.
Off the court, Brady enjoys going to UK games as a big Kentucky fan, hanging out with family and friends, and playing video games. He also shares a special bond with his twin sister, who has been part of his journey every step of the way. For Brady, basketball is more than just a game but a chance to grow, lead, and keep proving why he’s one of the brightest young prospects in his class.
I assess that Brady’s unique inside-out skill set makes him a matchup nightmare for opponents. His ability to rebound with force, finish through contact, and then step outside and knock down shots creates endless versatility for any team. Coaches can count on him to bring toughness, IQ, and a willingness to impact the game in multiple ways.
Brady is poised to become a centerpiece player at Great Crossing. With his size, shooting range, and rebounding power, he will continue to draw attention as one of the most promising prospects in the state. Expect him to build on his summer success, grow as a leader, and develop into a college-level player who can anchor a program with his versatility and relentless drive. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
