Jacob is an electric young combo guard known as one of the best shooters of his class in his state. He is a strong ball handler with three-level scoring ability and a smooth touch. Jacob is also a dazzling passer.
Playing on the Puma circuit for AAU with the FL Bay Hawks Jacob averaged 9.1 points, 3.0 assists, and 1.5 rebounds per game. During this time Jacob was able to improve on his ball handling the most while also working on creating his shot. It’s given Jacob a lot of confidence and motivation knowing he has played against the best and used what he has been working on against this great competition.
The one thing Jacob learned that will help him move forward during this offseason is the most important thing you must do is stay consistent, and confident and trust the process believing good things will come.
The one moment Jacob would isolate is when he and his team were playing in a live period session in Ohio and they were down by 17 at the half and came back and won, which also sparked a 4-game winning streak. Â
In some aspects Jacob feels like he did reach his offseason goals, there are also other goals he set for himself that he feels he could’ve done better. Understanding he wants to keep elevating those things and setting new goals for the upcoming season to push himself hard to achieve.Â
Jacob handles adversity by staying calm. Then moves on to the next play, not allowing the adversity to set the tone for the rest of the game.
What fuels Jacob's fire is his motivation to get better. This stud is hungrier than ever to be the best version of himself. He aims to make a statement every chance he gets to validate the next level of his game.
Jacob would tell those coming behind him to stay focused, and to learn as much as they can because HS ball is another level up.
Assessment is Jacob continues to improve with every phase since last season and the rising star hasnt disappointed one bit. Jacob's potential is so high and he is developing and expanding his game more and more. Big season ahead and we are all watching with excitement to see how high Jacob will fly. Stay tuned.
