With electric vision and a fierce command of the floor, Mica brings the total package every coach dreams of in a lead guard. He’s a dynamic floor general with a feel for the game that can’t be taught as a pass-first point guard with crafty anticipation, high-level reads, and a gift for dazzling dimes before the defense knows what hit them. His handle is smooth, his playmaking surgical, and when it’s time to score, he’s a lethal three-level threat who can drain it from deep, rise for mid-range daggers, or finish through contact. Equally dangerous in pick-and-rolls or dribble hand-offs, Mica thrives in flow, dissecting defenders with a high-IQ style rooted in patience, purpose, and precision. On defense, he’s just as fierce, reading passing lanes, cutting off angles, and frustrating opponents with anticipation and timing.
This past season, Mica erupted for 23.9 points, 4.3 assists, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.1 steals per game while stacking 21 blocks while shooting 46.2% from the field, 38% from beyond the arc, and 80% at the line. His biggest improvement was behind the arc, where he jumped from 31% to 38% after pouring in over 15,000 made threes in just one month, a testament to his work ethic and obsession with growth. And while his finishing is already strong, he’s locked in on becoming elite in that area this offseason, working to finish through all contact at the next level. His biggest motivation is the responsibility of leadership. When his team lost one of its best shooters to transfer, Mica didn’t blink, he simply stepped up and took over.
With AAU season wrapping and college basketball on the horizon, Mica’s focus is shifting toward his next chapter. He’s hungry to be surrounded by teammates who love the grind as much as he does, iron sharpening iron in a competitive, committed setting. That environment, filled with guys chasing greatness, is exactly where he knows he’ll thrive. His mindset is already there, not just as a playmaker but as a program cornerstone.
Mica is a glue guy with elite character. He’s the kind of leader every locker room needs, someone who keeps the team focused, aligned, and hungry to win. His 4.3 GPA, 25 ACT score, and salutatorian status speak volumes about his discipline, maturity, and ability to handle pressure. His fire is fueled by moments on defense when opponents give everything they have and still can’t score. That energy flips a switch in him. It’s what makes him dangerous: stopping you on one end, then torching you on the other.
When facing adversity, Mica leans into self-accountability. He’s always aware of his performance and holds himself to a high standard, never allowing frustration to impact team chemistry. The best advice he’s ever received is " Block out the noise, trust the hours you’ve put in, and play with freedom". That keeps him calm in chaos and dangerous in big moments.
I assess Mica as a high-IQ, unselfish leader with a relentless motor and a true two-way impact. His mix of feel, vision, defensive instincts and improved shooting makes him a legitimate collegiate prospect capable of running an offense from day one. He adds value without needing the spotlight and lifts every teammate around him.
Programs looking for a skilled, IQ, and selfless point guard with a proven work ethic and elite intangibles won’t want to miss on Mica. He has the tools to impact winning immediately as a creator, scorer, and culture-setter.
Expect him to shine in a college environment that embraces structure, competition, and connection. His ceiling continues to rise, and his next chapter could be his most explosive yet. Stay tuned.
