Dylan is a well-rounded guard with a deep bag and a deeper understanding of the game. He controls pace, reads the floor like a savvy vet, and brings a steady blend of scoring, facilitation, and feel. Whether he’s breaking defenders down off the bounce, hitting teammates in stride, or pulling up from deep, Dylan makes the right play over and over again. He plays with a quiet confidence and a chip on his shoulder, always ready to prove what he’s capable of. His IQ, work ethic, and feel for the game give him an edge that goes beyond the stat sheet.
After averaging 7 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds per game this past high school season, Dylan has taken his game to a new level. He’s added athleticism, become a better defender, and made it a priority to get to his spots off the dribble. His jumper is already elite, hitting over 40% from three in two varsity seasons and AAU, but now he’s finishing through contact, reading closeouts, and evolving into a complete scoring threat. He’s working to improve his floater, improve his first step, and use his body more effectively against length, preparing for the physicality of the next level.
This summer, Dylan played for North Point Youth and made a statement at multiple events. At the Embry-Riddle Team Camp, he averaged 18 points, 6.3 assists, 5 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game in three games while shooting 49% from the field and a blistering 45% from beyond the arc. His stat lines were balanced and electric, going for 22 points, 7 assists, and 6 threes in game one; 10 points, 9 assists, and 9 rebounds in game two; 21 points and 3 steals in game three. He followed it with five games totaling 95 points (19 points per game), 28 assists (5.6 assists per game), 29 rebounds (5.8 rebounds per game), and 9 steals (1.8 steals per game). He also averaged 15 points per game during the OTR Elite 32 Live Period, showing he could stay consistent and impactful against high-level competition.
Dylan recently transferred to First Coast Christian School to gain more exposure and give himself the best shot at getting recruited. His focus is to build chemistry with his new team, lead from the front, and bring home the school’s first-ever district title. He’s got the mindset, the tools, and the fire to do it. Every rep in the gym is about proving people wrong, and more importantly, proving himself right. Dylan thrives in tight moments, stays cool under pressure, and lives by a “next play” mentality. Mistakes don’t rattle him; he adjusts, learns, and comes back stronger.
Off the court, Dylan is a true student of the game. He constantly watches film, studies the greats, and absorbs the game’s deeper layers. He’s a fan of the Mind the Game podcast with LeBron and Steve Nash, using it to study decision-making and spacing at the highest level. His biggest motivation is his mom; he’s on a mission to earn a scholarship so she never has to worry about paying for college.
I assess that Dylan can raise a program’s ceiling. His ability to stretch the court, find teammates in stride, and handle pressure with poise makes him a versatile weapon in any system. Coaches can trust him to play smart, adapt quickly, and lead both vocally and by example.
Expect Dylan’s game to keep rising. His commitment to the process, hunger to grow, and steady production against high-level competition make him a legitimate next-level prospect. He’s got the tools, the mindset, and the purpose. As he enters this coming season, expect this rising senior to play with purpose and determination to achieve his goals and help his team make a strong playoff push. Stay tuned.
