Ryan plays the game with a fearless edge and cold-blooded confidence. He’s a high-IQ shot-maker who can catch fire from anywhere on the floor, whether it’s raining threes off the bounce or blowing by defenders to finish at the rim. His poise with the ball, elite vision, and ability to play through contact make him an effective weapon both as a scorer and playmaker. He plays unselfish basketball with a team-first mentality, and when the lights come on, Ryan’s natural feel and instincts take over. He’s an excellent passer, smart defender, and competitor who takes pride in making the right reads and putting his teammates in a position to succeed. The fire ramps up when momentum swings, when the team’s on a roll and the crowd gets loud, that’s when Ryan gets dangerous.

In limited varsity minutes as a freshman, he still managed to average 6 points per game while making big strides in how he attacks off the dribble. He’s no longer just a catch-and-shoot threat, he’s turning into a three-level scorer with a better handles and stronger finishes. Defense and getting to the basket were his biggest improvements in his game last season, and now he’s focused on adding leadership and point guard command to his arsenal. This summer, he’s playing for Strong Center 2027 Kinard with one goal, win every tournament and do whatever it takes to rack up victories. This past weekend at the @BigShotsGlobal Rocky Mountain, NC Event, he led his team to a 3-0 record while averaging 15.7 points and 2.7 assists. 1 rebound, and 1 steal per game eearning MVP honor along the way. He’s got July circled with the Phenom Hoops Live sessions in sight and plans to showcase everything he's been building. Looking ahead, Ryan’s ready to take on more minutes, more shots, and bigger leadership responsibilities at Leesville Road. What fires him up most is when his squad is in rhythm, scoring runs, ball movement, and energy off the bench—he lives for those moments.

When facing adversity, Ryan takes deep breaths and uses his positive thoughts, keeping himself and his team steady no matter what. The best coaching advice he’s ever received is, “Respect everyone, fear no one.” Off the court, he enjoys hanging out with friends, grabbing food, watching sports, or relaxing with his dogs, Ryan finds balance so he can stay locked in when it’s time to compete.

I assess that Ryan brings a fierce offensive game with shooting range, quick decision-making, and a high motor. His passing ability and willingness to do the little things make him an ideal floor general, especially as he continues to build his strength and point guard presence. He’s an underrated asset whose maturity and toughness will translate to winning basketball at the next level.

Ryan’s development is evolving. As his minutes increase and his leadership role expands, expect a major rise in production and recognition. With a tireless work ethic and a fearless approach, he’s on track to be one of the most reliable and impactful guards in his class. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
