Etowah HS, AL

Myles is a tough, unselfish point guard with a pass-first mentality and a defense-first attitude. He thrives when setting the tone for his squad, delivering dimes, locking up assignments, and doing whatever it takes to win. His court vision is a weapon, and his ability to create scoring opportunities for others is what separates him from most young guards. Despite his size, he’s a fierce competitor who makes smart reads, keeps the ball moving, and holds his own on the defensive end with grit and relentless energy. Myles isn’t worried about the spotlight; he’s focused on making the right play every possession.

Last season, his biggest improvement was his confidence, especially in his dribble attack and scoring mindset. Now, he’s locked in on his left hand, sharpening his IQ, and expanding his offensive bag to be ready when his team needs a bucket. Fueled by the impact of a coach who truly believed in him, Myles is embracing the grind this offseason to become the all-around guard his team can depend on. He’s hungry for a playoff push, driven by the pure joy of competing alongside his teammates. And when facing adversity, Myles stays in control, fixes what he can, and plays through it with maturity beyond his years.

I assess that Myles brings a mix of hustle, selflessness, and leadership that college coaches crave at the point guard spot. His willingness to defend, create, and play team-first basketball makes him an asset in any system. With continued offensive development, his ability to impact the game without needing the ball in his hands every possession gives him the potential to thrive at the next level.

Expect Myles to keep evolving in the coming seasons as his scoring game catches up to his playmaking and defense. His attitude, work ethic, and poise under pressure signal a player who’s built for big moments and ready to lead. Stay tuned as the general takes center stage.
