6'1, 195lbs, Class of 2029

McCallie High School, TN

Kody is a fierce, explosive, and relentless competitor with a non-stop motor. Whether he’s crashing off the edge or lining up at tight end, he plays with a mix of brute force and athletic finesse that makes him a matchup nightmare. He’s already built like a high school upperclassman, but it’s his raw intensity and football IQ that truly set him apart. Kody reads defenders like a savvy veteran, adapts mid-play, and brings a level of physicality and drive that most players his age can’t match. Coaches should know they’re getting a tough, coachable grinder who’ll dominate his rep, sacrifice for his team, and represent the program with pride and humility. Every time he steps on the field, he brings a level of energy and effort that sets the tone for everyone around him.

As an 8th grader, Kody racked up 8 tackles for loss, 7 quarterback sacks, 2 deflections, and 4 forced fumbles, wreaking havoc off the edge every time he lined up. Now entering high school at McCallie, he’s made a major leap in size, speed, and versatility, growing two inches, gaining 22 pounds, and switching to tight end. He’s clocking a 4.82 in the 40-yard dash and turning heads with his ability to move like a wideout in a linebacker’s frame. In spring practice, he's showcasing soft, reliable hands and explosive movement off the line, making him a serious threat in the passing game. Ranked 39th nationally in the Class of 2029, Kody dominated against older competition at the U.S. Army All-American Combine, holding his own against juniors and seniors and proving he belongs among the elite. His motivation comes from deep within, driven by the desire to surpass his older brother’s D1 legacy at Tennessee and glorify Christ through every success. With over 14 personal invites to FBS summer camps already, his name is starting to buzz far beyond his home state.

Kody embraces adversity like a warrior who's never rattled, always ready. He believes being a man means owning responsibility and leading by example. He doesn’t chase NIL hype but plays for purpose, for his team, and for something greater than himself. Coaches can expect a “yes sir, coach” player who shows up early, works like a veteran, and never complains, just competes. His goal isn’t just to make it to college, he wants to win championships and inspire others along the way.

I assess that Kody’s combination of size, power, athleticism, and character is rare at any level, especially in a rising freshman. His ability to impact both sides of the ball, pick up schemes quickly, and play with maturity gives him instant value to McCallie and next-level potential that coaches will fight for.

With continued development, Kody projects as a dominant force, an elite hybrid with the potential to become a Power 5 contributor and locker room leader. He’s already built like a next-level athlete, but it's his mindset, work ethic, and faith that makes him truly special. Expect his rise to be fast, furious, and unforgettable. Stay tuned.
