Nicholas is a poised, high-level guard with a smooth game and a relentless mindset. He brings a strong skill set that includes confident shooting, crafty handles, and a high basketball IQ. He can score from all three levels, use his length to finish in traffic and create space with ease. What makes him stand out is his poise, he never gets rattled, even under pressure. He thrives in loud gyms, against tough competition, and in rivalry games where everything’s on the line. He makes his presence known in every aspect of the game, from controlling tempo to locking in on defense, and when it’s time to make a play, he shows up. Nicholas is driven by the challenge and plays his best when it matters most.

During his sophomore season, Nicholas was a key piece in leading his team to the NYC CHSAA championship game. After a slow start in that final, he went off for 17 points to spark a comeback and nearly pulled off the win before falling just short. That moment fueled his hunger to return and finish the job next year. His biggest improvement was his rebounding and scoring beyond just the three-point line, showing off his growth as an all-around threat. Now he’s focused on getting stronger, creating better separation, and playing above the rim, building a more complete version of himself. He is playing for Jersey Force MHC on the Made Hoops Circuit under Coach Griffin, where he’s locked in on developing his game and pushing his squad toward a championship. The live periods in July and upcoming college camps are moments he’s ready to attack.

Nicholas feeds off adversity. If his shot’s not falling, he keeps shooting with confidence but also shifts gears, finding open teammates, making the right reads, and impacting the game in other ways. He keeps a clear head and a steady heart, learning from mistakes and growing through film study and reflection. What fires him up most is a loud gym, a rowdy opposing crowd, and the chance to silence the noise with his play. He’s stepping into next season with a new team dynamic after graduating nine seniors, and he’s ready to lead by example with a championship mentality. Coach Cortese’s belief in him this season lit a fire, and Nicholas is determined to keep growing, keep pushing, and take his game to the next level.

Off the court, Nicholas enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching games, and relaxing with movies. He stays connected to the game by giving back, reffing younger leagues and coaching at clinics in his community. He was named a NYC CHSAA All-League selection and All-Star this past season, and he’s just getting started.

I assess that Nicholas combines length, poise, and basketball IQ with the confidence to take over when it counts. He brings value as a scorer, creator, and quiet leader, one who steps up under pressure and brings balance to any lineup. His ability to stay composed while elevating those around him makes him a natural fit for programs that value consistency and smart play.

Nicholas is evolving with every rep. As he adds strength, expands his offensive bag, and steps into a larger leadership role, he’s only going to become more dangerous. He’s calm under pressure but plays with a fire that doesn’t fade, and when the game tightens, he’s the one you want with the ball. Expect a breakout season ahead. Stay tuned.
