Zaire is a fierce competitor who thrives on locking down opposing guards, bringing relentless energy, and making life miserable for the other team’s best player. He’s a gritty defender with a nonstop motor, and a natural floor general who knows how to find his teammates and get the offense flowing. Always intense and vocal, Zaire plays the game with fire, pride, and passion. His ability to stay in front, apply pressure, and keep the energy high makes him a disruptive force on the defensive end. With a growing confidence in his scoring, he’s now evolving into a guard who can make things happen on both ends of the floor, and he's not backing down from anyone.

This past season, he averaged 5.8 points, 6 assists, 3 steals, and 2 rebounds per game. Zaire’s biggest improvement has been in his shooting. After hitting 40% from the floor last season, he’s more confident and committed to becoming a high-volume scoring threat. His offseason grind is focused on consistency with his shot and building strength in the weight room. After a year of adversity and tough losses, he’s using that fire to fuel his hunger for wins and growth. He plays AAU for BTOB on the NXT Pro Puma Circuit and is especially fired up for their Florida tournament, where he’ll face some of the best talent in the country. When facing tough moments, his ability to breathe, stay calm, and stay focused keeps him grounded. Off the court, Zaire loves to golf and hang out with his friends, knowing how to lock in and when to unplug. The best coaching advice he has ever received is "Just be you."

I assess that Zaire’s defensive grit, leadership, and energy bring instant value to any program. Coaches can count on him to guard the toughest assignments, orchestrate the offense, and bring toughness and pride to the court every possession. His improving shot and growing confidence give him added potential as a two-way contributor.

Zaire is a sparkplug guard who continues to evolve. As he continues to add muscle and scoring ability to his already relentless defense and playmaking, expect him to become one of the most complete and dependable guards in his class.
