DJ is a walking problem, built like a tank, but with the touch of a sniper. His game is known for a punishing middy and a three-point shot that catches fire in a hurry. When DJ gets going, defenders are left guessing whether to crowd him at the arc or contest that smooth pull-up in the mid-post. And if they forget about him on the glass, they pay for it. He’s physical, aggressive, and rebounds with authority, turning missed shots into momentum swings. DJ doesn’t just score but controls tempo, lifts his team with energy, and plays with swagger every time he steps on the court.
This past season, DJ averaged 14 points and 6 rebounds per game, showcasing his ability to get buckets and mix it up on the boards. His biggest moment came in a 24-point performance against Heathwood Hall, where his jumper was nearly unguardable. But more than stats, DJ saw his team become a true brotherhood, a group that trusted one another and played for each other. Offseason focus is all about becoming even more of a complete weapon by improving his handles, elevating his defense, and adding more creativity off the bounce.
DJ’s AAU season was everything he hoped for as his team captured two championships, delivering on his biggest goal. Whether he’s hitting back-to-back threes, talking on defense, or silencing trash talk with a clutch shot, DJ brings emotion and presence that can’t be taught. When facing adversity, he stays calm, composed, and confident. He knows how to “play his role” but also knows when it’s time to take over. His rebounding, shot-making, and leadership continue to grow, making him one of the most reliable and dangerous players.
Off the court, DJ stays grounded in faith and enjoys hanging out with friends. He’s all about team, connection, and building something bigger than himself. Heading into next season, he’s ready to lead, bond, and keep showing why defenders can’t afford to give him an inch.
DJ’s mix of scoring ability and rebounding makes him a rare matchup. He brings physicality to the glass and finesse to the perimeter, making him a weapon in any system. Coaches can expect toughness, leadership, and a player who shows up when the game’s on the line.
As DJ continues to improve his handles and evolve his defensive consistency, his potential rises. He’s already proven to be a clutch scorer and reliable rebounder. The next step is becoming a complete two-way threat. Stay tuned.
