Julian brings a steady, no-frills impact that every winning team needs. A physical wing with size and strength, he understands exactly how to fit within the flow of the game and make himself valuable on every possession. His shooting ability stretches the floor and creates space, especially when defenses start to load up elsewhere. He finds open spots naturally, stays ready, and has shown he can deliver timely shots when momentum is hanging in the balance.
That role expands when the game turns physical. Julian is comfortable battling inside, finishing through contact, and eating up space on the boards. He plays with a high motor and carries a defensive edge that shows up in effort plays, loose balls, and on-ball pressure. The energy is consistent. The approach is simple. Compete, defend, and make the right play.
Last season, Julian averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 0.8 steals per game. This season, those numbers jumped to 8.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, 0.6 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. The increase has come from playing with more confidence and trusting his shot, especially from the perimeter. As his comfort level has grown, so has his willingness to take and make shots without hesitation.
One of the most impactful moments of his season came through earning a starting role late and picking up All-District and All-Region Tournament recognition. That stretch built trust with his coach and reinforced his value within the lineup. Julian embraced the responsibility, leaned into physicality and hustle, and continued to do the small things that keep him on the floor.
Bearden is the matchup he has circled, and moments like that are where his edge shows. When he gets hot from three, the game opens up quickly. When shots are not falling, he stays locked in, moves on to the next play, and finds other ways to help his team win. That short memory has become a strength.
Being a starting wide receiver in football has carried over onto the court. The toughness, aggression, and willingness to embrace contact translate directly into how Julian plays basketball. He does not shy away from physical play and brings that same competitive mindset every night.
Off the court, Julian enjoys video games, watching movies, and staying involved in youth activities at his church. That balance shows in his approach to the game, steady, grounded, and team-focused.
Faith plays a huge role in how Julian carries himself. Being active in church and youth activities keeps him centered and connected, helping him stay composed through adversity and focused on serving others, both on and off the court.
I assess that Julian offers size, toughness, and shooting that fit easily into a team-oriented system. His ability to defend, space the floor, and compete physically gives a program a dependable wing who can be trusted in meaningful minutes.
Moving forward, Julian is poised to continue growing into a reliable role player whose confidence and ball-handling development add another level to his game. Expect consistent energy, physical play, and a competitor who embraces his role and elevates the group around him. Stay tuned.
