Ian Strader @StraderIan , 6'4 , 160, of Buckhannon- Upsure High School, WV is a yet another dynamic athlete that can be a game changer in a major way. A beautiful three point sniper and explosive off the bounce with fierce finishes. Crafty midrange . Gritty and tough glue guy willing to do whatever he needs to help his team win. Mixing it up on the boards .Dropping nice dimes and a solid defender.
Last season Ian averaged 12.2 poonts,points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1 steal, and 0.5 blocks. His favorite AAU highlight was a put back dunk and favorite AAU game is when he scored 22 points. Ian's goals for the upcoming season are to be an all-state player while leading his team to fight on that state championship tournament.
What coaches need to know is that Ian will sacrifice his body by taking a charge or dive the floor for loose balls and he can flat out compete with anyone. Ian brings a high IQ and above the rim and the defense to change games along with his scoring. He is a D2 level but working hard to keep developing and improving even with that opportunity he can open the door to a D1 spot. Ian knows he has much work to do it but he is up for the challenge. Keep a close eye on him and this statement run his final season.
