Eli brings balance, toughness, and control to the floor every time he plays. A true combo guard, he blends court vision with a confident outside shot while playing with an edge that shows up on both ends. The offseason strength gains have changed how he impacts the game, allowing him to finish stronger in the paint, get downhill with purpose, and absorb contact without losing rhythm. Defensively, he plays aggressive and physical, setting a tone with effort and toughness, steadily growing into a complete player and leader.

Last season, Eli put together a strong all-around stat line, averaging 14.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.0 steals per game, while shooting 45 percent on field goals, 38 percent on three-point field goals, and 72 percent on free throws. That production laid the foundation, but the jump this season has been even bigger.

Through the first 4 games of this season, Eli has elevated his play across the board, 21 points per game for points, 7.5 rebounds per game for rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game for assists, while shooting a blistering 42 percent from three-point range. He is impacting games in more ways, rebounding at a higher level, creating more offense for teammates, and staying efficient while carrying a heavier load.

The biggest improvement in his game has been his growth as a point guard. Eli has become more comfortable running the offense, reading defenses, and making the right play when pressure rises. He continues to focus on playmaking, understanding that controlling pace and involving teammates is just as important as scoring. When the game tightens, he stays composed, trusting the work he has put in and leaning on the group around him.

Adversity has shaped his mindset. Losing in the WVCAT tournament last season left a mark, and that feeling has carried into this year, fueling both Eli and his teammates with a hunger to respond. He approaches every game the same way, playing as if it could be his last and giving everything he has on each possession.

Leadership and effort are what coaches can expect every night. Eli takes pride in setting an example, competing hard, communicating, and staying locked in regardless of the situation. With his senior season ahead and an opportunity to make a run to the state tournament in Charleston, the focus is clear, and the motivation is strong.

His love for the game drives him. Nothing external is needed to spark his fire. He values the preparation, the grind, and the chance to compete. He trusts the work he has put in, the teammates beside him, and the coaches behind him who continue to invest in him on and off the court.

Family plays a major role in his journey. Eli gives credit to his dad for the constant support and time poured into his development as both a basketball player and a young man. Away from the gym, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and also competes in soccer during the fall, adding to his athletic base and competitive edge.

Eli plans to play basketball in college and remains open to any opportunity that fits. With his steady growth, improved playmaking, and rising production, he continues to show he is ready to take on bigger moments and bigger responsibilities.

I assess that Eli brings a reliable guard presence who can score, create, and defend with consistency. His improved strength, feel for the game, and willingness to lead make him a player who can control and elevate a college backcourt.

Eli continues to grow as a floor general who impacts winning through playmaking, effort, and composure. With his work ethic, versatility, and competitive mindset, he is poised to keep climbing and make a strong impression at the next level. Stay tuned.
