Noah Owens is a crafty combo guard, and one thing becomes obvious the moment he steps on the floor. The game moves at his pace. He can push the tempo in the blink of an eye, then slow everything down just as quickly to organize an offense and make the right read. That balance is what makes him so dangerous. Noah isn't focused on chasing points because he takes pride in impacting every part of the game. Whether it's creating for teammates, locking down on defense, controlling the ball under pressure, or making the extra play that leads to a win, he embraces every responsibility that comes with running a team. His ability to impact the game in so many different ways is what separates him every time he steps on the court.

His freshman season showed just how much one determined leader can help change the direction of a program. Middle Tennessee Christian School improved from just 2 wins the previous season to 13 victories and earned a trip to the district tournament for the first time in several years. Personally, Noah continued building an impressive resume by surpassing 500 career points, 150 rebounds, 125 assists, and more than 75 steals. That momentum carried straight into the summer, where he averaged 19 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals during the BCAT and Ravenwood tournaments with Oakland before averaging 10 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals throughout AAU play. Some of his favorite memories weren't built around personal numbers at all. The overtime win that sent Middle Tennessee Christian School to the district tournament remains unforgettable, while celebrating Francis' game-winning buzzer beater to finish undefeated at the Prep Hoops Showcase reminded him exactly why basketball is such a special game. More than anything, Noah wanted to add new weapons to his game this summer, and by his own standards, he accomplished exactly what he set out to do.

Everything started clicking once he learned to simply trust his preparation. Instead of worrying about mistakes or trying to force big moments, Noah played freely and confidently while leaning on the countless hours he had invested behind closed doors. Once he stopped allowing missed shots or turnovers to linger in his mind, everything changed. A mistake only lasts a couple of seconds, but confidence can carry you through an entire game. That mindset helped slow the game down, allowing him to stay comfortable no matter what role his team needed. His outstanding summer included averages of 19 points, 3 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals while shooting a blistering 54 percent from three at Ravenwood and BCAT, followed by leading Stars with 12 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals during the UA Next National Semifinals. Those performances weren't simply hot streaks because they represented a deeper understanding of the game and a growing maturity that allowed consistency to replace frustration.

The biggest improvement Noah has made isn't measured by points or shooting percentages. It's the confidence to enjoy the game while remaining fiercely competitive. He understands that every night won't be his highest-scoring performance, but that never changes his impact. If the shot isn't falling, he'll control the tempo, create open looks for teammates, protect the basketball, pressure opposing guards into mistakes, and find another way to help his team win. That unselfish mindset has become one of the strongest parts of his game because winning has always meant more than individual recognition.

Finding Stars Basketball became another turning point in his journey because the program develops far more than basketball skills. Built on Christian values, Stars has helped Noah grow both on and off the court by emphasizing character along with competition. Team Bible studies, meaningful discussions, and lessons that connect faith with everyday life have helped keep him grounded while strengthening the relationships throughout the program. For Noah, Stars isn't simply where he plays basketball. It's helped shape the young man he continues becoming.

Behind every successful performance is a daily commitment that few people ever see. Noah and his dad have been training together since he was young, building every workout around improving a different part of his game. One day may focus on ball handling and shooting, while another focuses on decision making, finishing, or learning from film. He also works with one of his coaches on advanced skill development and playmaking, constantly searching for ways to sharpen every detail of his game. What fuels him most is knowing somebody else could be working just as hard or trying to earn the same opportunities. That thought keeps him pushing every single day because he refuses to take the people supporting him or the opportunities in front of him for granted.

This offseason, Noah has one clear goal. He wants to become stronger. Building his body will allow him to absorb contact, create more space offensively, and become even tougher defensively while continuing to expand every part of his game. He wants to keep adding new tools to his bag while becoming an even more complete guard. When the new season tips off, expect relentless effort, disruptive defense, smart playmaking, and a guard determined to make winning the priority every single night.

He'll compete as hard as he possibly can, embrace whatever role helps his team win, and do everything within his power to impact winning. He creates offense naturally, handles pressure with confidence, defends with relentless energy, and understands how to elevate everyone around him. His ability to impact every possession without forcing the action makes him an extremely valuable leader.
