Liam doesn't measure his game by how many points he scores. He measures it by how many winning plays he makes. Every time he steps on the floor, his confidence, toughness, and high basketball IQ show up before the stat sheet ever tells the story. He embraces pressure instead of avoiding it, protects the basketball, makes smart decisions, leads his teammates, communicates constantly, and knows exactly when to attack for his own bucket and when to create one for someone else. That balance is what separates him because he isn't chasing points. He's chasing wins, and every possession is another opportunity to help his team succeed.

His freshman season couldn't have gone much better. A perfect 60-0 record and a district championship made it one of the biggest accomplishments of his young career and gave him a foundation that very few freshmen ever experience. Instead of being satisfied, he immediately turned his attention toward getting stronger, adding more physicality, and becoming even more dominant. That hunger carried right into AAU with Next Page Force on the Nike EYBL Circuit, where he continued proving he could impact every part of the game against elite competition. One of the biggest moments of his summer came when he recorded a triple-double with 17 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists, showing exactly how complete his game has become. Another standout performance came against the Illinois Tigers, when he scored 22 points and handed out 6 dimes. He attacked the rim, rained shots from deep, created for teammates, and controlled the flow of the game. Once he found his rhythm, he simply took over by doing a little bit of everything.

The biggest improvement in Liam's game over the past year has been creating offense on his own terms. He spent countless hours learning how to get to his spots more efficiently while elevating his pull-up jumper until it became a real weapon. That work is showing every time he steps on the floor because defenders now have to respect every option. If they back off, he'll hit the jumper. If they crowd him, he'll get into the lane, finish, or create an easy look for a teammate.

His journey hasn't been without challenges. Last summer, an injury left him wondering if he'd even be able to play his freshman season. That's a difficult place for any young athlete to be, especially after putting in so much work. Instead of letting doubt take over, he stayed patient, trusted the recovery process, and fought his way back. That experience reminded him never to take the game for granted and helped build the mental toughness that now shows every time he competes.

The biggest stages don't intimidate him either. When the matchup includes nationally known or higher-ranked players, it only adds fuel to the fire. Those games bring out his competitive edge because he wants to prove himself against the best every chance he gets. As a ranked player himself, he understands every opponent is trying to make a name by coming after him, but he refuses to let outside noise distract him. His focus stays on trusting his game, making winning plays, and letting his performance do all the talking.

This offseason, Liam wants to become an even more poised point guard while continuing to get stronger and more physical. His goals are just as big as his work ethic. He wants to lead his team to the state championship, earn All-State honors, and establish himself as the best sophomore in the state. Those aren't empty words, but goals backed by daily work and a relentless commitment to improving.

Behind the scenes, the grind never stops. Most days revolve around workouts, skill development, and finding another way to improve his game. Every drill and every hour in the gym is fueled by one dream of playing professional basketball one day. Coaches know exactly what they'll get every time Liam steps onto the court. They'll get relentless defense, smart decision-making, leadership, communication, toughness, and a guard who always puts winning ahead of personal numbers.

As he looks ahead to the upcoming season, Liam believes big things are coming, and there's every reason to believe him.
