Cole is a fierce, crafty playmaker with a scorer’s mentality and a competitive motor that never quits. What makes him different is how poised and composed he is at such a young age. He doesn’t just shoot it, he knocks down shots with rhythm, control, and range that stretches defenses. He plays with a chip on his shoulder, fueled by the fear of losing and driven to make a difference every time he hits the floor. As a versatile shooter and confident creator, Cole can score in bunches while still setting the table for his teammates. And when the lights are brightest, he rises. He’s wired to win, and his presence makes any team more dangerous.
This season, Cole averaged 11.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game, shooting a blazing 40% from three and a strong 81% from the free throw line. His biggest improvement came on the defensive end, where he became a more physical, locked-in on-ball defender. He’s earned respect and recognition every step of the way, District 7A Freshman MVP, 2nd Team All-Conference, All-Defensive Team, All Upper Cumberland 3rd Team, Upper Cumberland Freshman MVP, District Tournament All-Tournament Team, and Region Tournament All-Tournament Team. He capped it all off by earning an invite to the prestigious CP3 Rising Stars Camp, marking him as one of the top 150 players in the Class of 2028.
Now playing with the Tennessee Tigers, Cole is chasing perfection every weekend with a goal of going 4-0 in every tournament. His offseason focus is on developing his ability to play through contact, getting stronger, and preparing to take on even more responsibility next year. He’s most excited to reunite with his teammates and make another push at the state tournament, a run that lit a fire in him and proved he belongs on big stages.
What drives Cole is the thought of losing. That pressure doesn’t break him, it fuels him. He handles adversity with composure, always staying level-headed and ready to respond. The best coaching advice he’s ever received is, "Control what you can control." That mindset shows in how he competes, trains, and carries himself as a leader.
I assess that Cole brings a winning attitude, elite shooting touch, and disciplined mindset to every program he’s part of. His lethal shooting, awareness, and consistency make him a threat from anywhere on the court, and his ability to defend and lead with poise raises the level of those around him. He’s a rising star with a foundation built on hard work and self-control.
Cole is already carving out a name as one of the premier guards in his class. With continued physical development and a relentless work ethic, he’s on pace to become one of the most complete guards in Tennessee. Expect him to keep racking up accolades, elevating his game, and dominating both ends of the floor as he ascends to the next level. Remember the name; we will be hearing a lot about his young star for years to come. Stay tuned.
