Tyler is a dynamic athlete who can dominate the paint, stretch the floor, facilitate like a guard, and still leave room to rise. Tyler is an explosive 6’7 power forward with a game that blurs traditional roles and demands attention. His footwork is crafty, his decisions are smart, and his presence is relentless. He doesn’t just fit into a system but opens it up. Whether battling inside for tough buckets, picking apart defenses with elite vision, or confidently knocking down shots from beyond the arc, Tyler’s versatility jumps off the court, grabs the crowd, and punishes defenders. And when the trash talk starts, the switch flips, his fire gets lit, and that bucket’s coming whether you like it or not.
Last season, Tyler averaged 15 points and 8 rebounds per game while shooting a scorching 57% from the field and 37% from behind the arc, numbers that show just how efficient he can be. But beyond the stats, it was his finishing, confidence, and offensive assertiveness that saw the biggest improvement. That edge has only sharpened with time. This offseason, he’s locked in on his handle, building the confidence and control to create from the perimeter and become an even bigger mismatch. His drive comes from listening to those who’ve walked the path before him—former teammates who've made the jump and passed down the truth about what it really takes. Their words hit home and changed everything.
This AAU season, Tyler is rocking with Kentuckiana Hoops NXT Pro 17U, stepping onto the circuit ready to make noise and command respect. With Midwest Mania coming up, he’s focused on delivering against elite competition. His goal is to showcase his complete skill set and prove he’s ready for the next level. On a floor packed with athletes, Tyler plans to separate himself with his court awareness, shot-making, and ability to read the game like a seasoned vet. The lights are bright, and that’s exactly how he wants it.
Off the court, Tyler’s focus is just as strong. He’s a student of the game and a grinder by nature, consistently working on the small things that fuel his big goals. When facing adversity, Tyler powers through it, embracing the work and trusting the process. His hunger isn’t for flash, it’s for growth, wins, and elevation.
I assess that Tyler is the kind of versatile weapon coaches dream of. He’s long, smart, skilled, and unselfish, a rare blend of scoring, rebounding, and passing . He offers inside power and perimeter finesse while showing the kind of basketball IQ that elevates everyone around him. His ability to adjust, adapt, and stay consistent makes him a true matchup nightmare.
College programs looking for a modern-day forward with size, skill, and vision should have Tyler circled in red. His ability to stretch defenses, punish mismatches, and create opportunities through movement and passing makes him a clear asset in any offensive system. Add in his evolving handle and drive to keep improving, and he becomes a plug-and-play piece with long-term upside. He’s a floor-spacer, creator, and interior threat all in one.
Tyler is still improving and the rise isn’t slowing down. With a chip on his shoulder, a deeper handle in development, and elite competition on the horizon, expect a breakout summer that pushes his name into conversations across the country. There’s plenty more to come from Tyler who's he’s just getting started. Stay tuned.
