Jaxon is an absolute force of nature. At 6’10”, 280 pounds, he’s known for his raw power and rim-rocking dunks, even through contact, but make no mistake, he’s far from one-dimensional. Jaxon combines freakish strength with a fierce, versatile skill set that reaches every corner of the floor. He can punish defenders in the post, knock down threes, pick and pop, or make the right read when doubled. His footwork is elite, his ball handling continues to rise, and he’s got the vision to set up teammates without forcing the issue. He scores through contact, dominates the boards, protects the rim, and stretches the defense, an inside-out weapon with explosiveness and skill that’s nearly impossible to match, like a man among boys. Jaxon doesn’t just overpower opponents, he outsmarts them.

This past season, he averaged 22.7 points, 14.4 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game while shooting 66.7% from the field and 32.1% from deep; Jaxon was a mismatch nightmare all season long. He earned 1st Team All-State, All-Substate, and All-Conference honors, along with Conference Player of the Year. His ball-handling has been his biggest improvement, allowing him to easily move between the block, elbow, and perimeter. This offseason, he’s locked in on developing a reliable post hook, improving his lateral movement, and expanding his scoring options.

With MidPro Academy on the AAU circuit, Jaxon is determined to show college coaches what he’s capable of. He’s fired up for Recruit Looks Atlanta during the July live period and motivated by last season’s substate final loss, which still pushes him daily. His goal is to lead Keokuk to its first state appearance in more than 20 years.

What sets Jaxon apart is how complete his game really is. He uses timing and footwork to carve out space, finishes through contact, crashes the glass with hunger, and works pick-and-rolls and pick-and-pops with purpose. He’s patient with the ball, catches everything in his area, and stretches defenses with his shooting. When defenders foul him intentionally, it only fuels him more, and that’s when his game hits another gear.

In tough moments, Jaxon trusts his belief in himself. He stays calm, plays through it, and never loses sight of what he brings to the floor. His mentality is driven by the words of Gavin Sullivan, who said, “You’re either a pit bull or a poodle. You choose which one you want to be.” Jaxon’s choice is clear, and he plays like it every single game.

Off the floor, he values family and quality time. Travel ball keeps him on the move, so time with loved ones means even more. He’s big on fishing when he can, and yes, The Notebook tops his movie list.

I assess that Jaxon is a dominant big who delivers across the board, scoring, spacing, rebounding, and defending. He’s a rare mix of strength, feel, and skill with a competitive edge that makes him a nightmare matchup. Any program looking for a versatile, game-changing big should be all in.

With a grown-man frame, an inside-out game, and a relentless approach, Jaxon is one of the most complete and dangerous bigs in the country. He’s built to anchor a team, make winning plays, and lead deep into March. There’s no ceiling for what he can become. This stud is on a mission. Opponents beware, Jaxson is coming with purpose and intentions. Stay tuned for the run of redemption and pursuit of history as he seeks to carry his team to that state tournament.
