Alex is the definition of a modern-day impact big, versatile enough to defend every position, skilled enough to punish defenses with his shooting touch, and relentless enough to dominate the paint as a rim protector. With the mobility to guard in space, he erases shots at the rim with timing and length while also stepping out to hit a smooth middy with ease. His smooth release, confidence as a shooter, and ability to stretch the floor make him a constant scoring option, and defensively, he’s the anchor that shuts down driving lanes. Alex doesn’t just play the game but studies it, processing situations and making winning plays, whether that’s swatting a shot, hitting a big jumper, or finding a teammate for the right look.

This past season, Alex averaged 12.8 points, 8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2 steals, and a jaw-dropping 4.5 blocks per game, proving he can impact the game at both ends. His biggest improvement has come from building strength in the weight room, which has improved his confidence, physicality, and speed. Now, he’s looking to be even more aggressive offensively, taking more shots and asserting himself as a consistent scoring threat. His offseason work focuses on expanding his game in every phase, maintaining efficiency, playing stronger, and continuing to make the most of his athletic build.

Alex’s competitive fire is fueled by more than stats, he thrives on team energy and the shared push toward winning. In big matchups, he uses a mental edge, telling himself he’s better than the player in front of him and then proving it in the game. Coaches can count on him to give 100% effort every time, to guard with pride, to rebound with authority, and to be a vocal leader on the court. This summer’s AAU season brought invitations to elite camps and interest from high-academic programs, and Alex matched up against top competition, showing he could more than hold his own.

Transferring to Phillips Exeter Academy next season, Alex is seeking higher levels of competition and elite coaching to evolve his already dangerous skill set. Off the court, he enjoys golfing, working out, spending time with friends, and daily moments with family. The best advice he’s received is, "believe in yourself and know you're good enough". He’s built a mental toughness that matches his physical tools.

I assess that Alex’s mix of size, defensive versatility, and shooting ability makes him a unique weapon for any college program. His rim protection changes games, his rebounding starts fast breaks, and his shooting forces opponents to adjust their defensive schemes. He brings a winning mindset and an ability to execute in high-pressure situations.

Expect Alex to keep evolving into a complete two-way player who can be a defensive anchor and a go-to offensive option. With his size, IQ, and competitive drive, he has the potential to be a program-changer player capable of lifting a team’s ceiling on both ends of the floor and delivering when the stakes are highest. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
