Trey is a versatile force on the court, mixing the skill of a three-level scorer with the grit of a rim protector. He can score in a variety of ways, whether pulling up for a soft middy, going to work in the post, attacking off the bounce from the wing, or stepping out to rain the three. His defensive improvement has been striking, now able to handle pressure with confidence while protecting the rim with authority. Just as impactful, his vision as a facilitator has grown, making him a trusted decision-maker who can elevate not only his own game but also the play of those around him with some jaw-dropping dimes. He uses his length and size to be a strong impact on the boards. Coaches should know they’ll get 110% effort, leadership, and a steady presence who finds ways to help their team win.

His journey to this point has been marked by resilience. From losing his grandmother at a young age, to a tree destroying his home and forcing a school transfer, to being held back and even cut from opportunities that should have been his, Trey has endured more than most athletes will ever face. Yet instead of folding, he found strength in faith, family, and an unwavering belief in his calling to keep pursuing this game. Even when he sat out varsity minutes last year due to transfer rules, he refused to let adversity define him. Instead, he poured himself into his work, pushed through bullying, and embraced the role of lifting up teammates, proving that his value stretches far beyond points and stats.

Now, entering his senior season, Trey has already picked up his first college offer, a testament to perseverance and trust in God’s timing. He describes the most impactful lesson he’s learned as understanding that his window is limited, and it’s up to him to seize every moment. That realization sparked a hunger like never before, fueling long hours of training, consistency, and dedication to being better than yesterday. His AAU coaches and trainers instilled a message that stuck with him: "Don’t be the one who lets opportunities slip away, be the player nobody can forget." Trey has embodied that advice every day since.

What fires him up most is the chance to do what he loves, competing with passion and showing that his setbacks could never define his future. He faces adversity by playing his game, leaning on his work, and refusing to let outside noise shake who he is. Off the court, Trey pours back into others, helping when he can and serving as a role model to younger kids, showing them through action that anything is possible when you don’t quit.

I assess that Trey’s combination of size, versatility, and leadership gives him the tools to immediately impact a college program. His ability to score at all three levels, protect the rim, and facilitate with maturity makes him a well-rounded presence on both ends of the court. More importantly, his resilience, character, and relentless determination provide the intangibles that inspire teams to push further.

After everything he’s endured, Trey enters his senior year ready to make it his defining season. With improved consistency, a stronger defensive edge, and a renewed fire fueled by faith, he is set to show just how much he belongs. Expect him to lead Dickson County with heart, toughness, and belief, proving that no setback, no doubt, and no obstacle can stop a player who refuses to quit on his dream. Stay tuned, as he will certainly be playing like a man on a mission with something to prove. For him, it's now or never. No looking back, but with everything in, pushing forward with purpose.
