Luke is a shifty combo guard who can bring the rain with unlimited range. His jumper is a real problem, forcing defenders to pick him up well beyond the arc. Close out too fast and he is gone, exploding downhill in a flash and finishing with crafty, physical touch at the rim. He scores it at all three levels with confidence and edge, never letting defenders settle in. Luke loves mixing it up on the boards, attacking rebounds with toughness and instincts. On the defensive end, his off-ball instincts stand out, jumping passing lanes, creating steals and deflections, and turning defense into instant offense, making him a fierce two-way impact player.
After averaging 5.6 points per game last year, Luke has erupted to averaging 22.7 points per game this season while doing it with strong efficiency across the board. He is shooting 44.2% from the field, a blistering 41.8% from three, and 82.6% from the line, along with a 52.1% effective field goal percentage. He adds 6.2 rebounds, 1.5 steals, 1.3 assists, and 0.8 blocks, impacting the win and checking every box. His biggest improvement has been becoming a true three-level scorer, and his focus remains locked in on continuing to grow guarding on the ball against positions 1-4.
Luke’s game is fueled by energy and team success. His goals this season include a state or section final appearance, a top-5 conference finish, and earning First Team All-Conference honors. Looking ahead, he is hungry to compete for a conference and sectional championship again next year. High-energy games bring out his best, and he takes pride in helping teammates, whether that means spacing the floor, making the extra pass, crashing the glass, or delivering buckets when momentum is swinging.
When facing adversity, Luke stays composed and steady, continuing to compete on both ends and trusting his work without letting the moment speed him up. That approach, along with his production and versatility, has already earned him a D2 offer from Winona State, with additional interest from D1 and D2 programs.
I assess that Luke gives a college program a guard who can bring the rain from deep with confidence while still punishing defenders off the bounce. His three-level scoring, rebounding from the guard spot, and off-ball defensive savvy allow him to impact winning in multiple ways.
Moving forward, Luke continues to rise as a high-output scorer whose efficiency separates him from the pack. As his on-ball defense continues to grow, his overall impact expands even further. Expect continued production, leadership growth, and a competitor who consistently shows he can influence games on both ends of the floor. Stay tuned.
