Grant is a dazzling floor general with an electric skill set and a relentless approach to the game. His elite ball-handling and high IQ allow him to control the pace, break down defenders, and create explosive opportunities for his team. With a pass-first mentality, he delivers dazzling, thread-the-needle dimes while staying efficient as a lethal shooter. His scrappy, fearless nature makes him a pest on defense, disrupting passing lanes and locking up opponents. Whether he's pushing the tempo, hitting clutch shots, or battling on the boards, his game is a thrilling mix of skill, energy, and competitive fire.
This past season, Grant averaged 9.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 8.7 assists, and 3.8 steals per game, showcasing his ability to impact all areas of the court. His biggest improvement was his confidence to take scoring opportunities without forcing the action, balancing his playmaking instincts with an attacking mindset. With the loss of last year’s primary point guard, Grant stepped up as the team’s main ball handler, adjusting his role and proving he could handle the pressure. Heading into the offseason, his focus is on becoming an even more dangerous scoring threat, improving his shot consistency, and developing his ability to play off the ball.
While he hasn’t locked in an AAU team yet, multiple programs have shown interest. His goals for the upcoming AAU season are to compete against the best, sharpen every aspect of his game, and stack up wins. He thrives in high-intensity environments, and nothing fuels his fire more than a charged-up student section on the road. The energy, the noise, and the challenge bring out the best in him, pushing him to elevate his play.
Off the court, Grant enjoys the simple moments of just being a kid and living in the present. Basketball may be his passion, but he understands the importance of balance. When it comes to adversity, Grant doesn’t shy away from it; he embraces it. He uses every obstacle as fuel, turning doubt into motivation and challenges into opportunities to play harder. The best coaching advice Grant has ever received is “Go be you.” It’s a phrase that defines his approach and helps him play with confidence, trust his game, and leave everything on the floor.
Grant’s strengths are undeniable, with elite vision, dynamic passing, scrappy defense, and a high-level motor that never stops. He’s a true floor general who makes teammates better, controls tempo and has a knack for making the right play. His ability to push the pace and distribute the ball makes him an instant impact player at any level. Defensively, he’s a tenacious on-ball defender with quick hands, constantly disrupting the opposition. His next step is adding more scoring to his game, becoming a more consistent off-ball threat, and further developing his ability to take over when needed.
I assess that Grant’s game translates well to the next level, especially in a system that values high-IQ guards who can run the show. His passing ability, defensive intensity, and court awareness make him a valuable asset. Coaches looking for a leader who can dictate the game and elevate his teammates will see his potential immediately. With continued growth in his scoring and shot-making ability, he has all the tools to be a difference-maker at the college level.
Expect Grant to keep pushing the limits of his game. His relentless work ethic, combined with his natural playmaking ability, sets him up for a big offseason of development. With a hunger to improve and a competitive edge that refuses to back down, he’s only going to get better. The future is bright for this dynamic point guard, and as he continues to evolve, his impact on the game will only grow. Stay tuned.
