Kamron is a strong three-point shooter around the arc, skilled at spacing out the floor and finding a way to get open for easy shots Kamron can do some damage off the bounce and deliver some sweet passes even on the move. Kamron's calling card, though, is that defense. As a tenacious all-around defender, Kamron can guard every position effectively.
This past season averaged 7.2 points, 3 assists, 5 rebounds, 1 blocks, and 1 steal per game. The most motivating thing that happened last season that will push Kamron way harder was the amount of playing time that he got last year. It is motivating Kamron to work on his game as much as he can and improve on every aspect of his game. Kamron's goals going into next season are to make an impact and try to be a spark for the team while trying to make more of an impact on the offensive side of the ball by bringing energy in every game, averaging 9 points, locking up defensively, learning from every loss and win, and in practice bringing that same energy to further motivate his teammates.
Playing AAU for the WV Kings, Kamron's biggest improvement of that made over this AAU season would probably have to be his pace around the whole game, as he has learned pace helps a lot if you know how to use it properly. As Kamron assesses, those he played against have helped him to become a better player because of the way better competition, and it also builds confidence for his game.
If Kamron had to isolate a moment in the season that defined his summer session, it would be when they beat 3 teams in a row by 20 or more in the national Big Shots Tournament in Myrtle Beach. The best team that Kamron and company faced this summer was Cris Paul’s AAU team CP3, from the Nike EYBL circuit in South Carolina in a Big Shots tournament and lost by 12.
The thing Kamron learned to better his recruiting would have to be attitude on and off the court, basically just controlling your emotions.
One of the biggest challenges of this season as a team would definitely have to be a bigger team that can handle the ball due to their size as a team but believes sometimes it will work out in their favor. Kamron's biggest goal and challenge for this upcoming season would be to make it to the state tournament and have a positive record this season while scoring 8 to 10 points coming off the bench.
When on the court, what fires Kamron up is when, as a tea,m, they have energy when they go on a run. It really just depends on how they are playing as a team. Kamron feeds off people's energy.
Kamron handles adversity very well on the court. When things don’t go his way, he almost never dwells on mistakes cause it’s just a part of the game, as he has learned. Over the summer Kamron has made a huge improvement from when he would catch himself dwelling on simple mistakes.
One thing a coach can expect from Kamron would be his willingness to put in the work, and I feel she is a very coachable player with a good attitude.
Kamron sees himself going D2 or a D3, even Juco if given the opportunity. Kamron understands that it will be a blessing to be able to continue playing the game he loves.
I assess that Kamron is the ultimate glue guy willing to fill whatever role his team needs while bringing energy and defensive grit. Kamron can be clutch in situations where the team needs a big three. Kamron's game continues to evolve and improve. There is potential to be effective on the next level with the right fit. This upcoming season will provide Kamron with the opportunity to play a significant role in the success of this team. As his role grows, so will his impact along with his confidence. Stay tuned!!
