Drew doesn’t need to shout to be heard; his game does the talking. With a silky left-handed touch that’s automatic from deep and a natural feel for the flow of the game, he delivers constant impact on both ends of the floor. Whether it’s knocking down shots off curls, spacing the floor, or playing the game the right way with quick reads under pressure and smart off-ball movement, Drew brings a steady, winning presence. His court vision, basketball IQ, and unselfish mindset make him a connector, and defensively, he sees the floor like a sixth sense, communicating, rotating, and always knowing where to be. With guard skills, he’s evolving into a versatile 2/3 wing who can fill multiple roles and contribute in a wide variety of ways.
After moving to varsity midway through the season, Drew averaged 6.6 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.6 blocks, while shooting a blistering 56.8% from three and 85% from the line. His +12 plus/minus rating showed just how much better his team played with him on the floor. His AAU run with All Heart Basketball on the Nike EYBL circuit brought even more confidence. Drew shot nearly 70% from three during session four in North Augusta. That shift in belief has been his biggest improvement. From barely taking a three the previous year to becoming one of his team’s top marksmen, Drew’s development is being fueled by his improved strength, IQ, and relentless offseason focus on ball-handling and athleticism. He’s also locked in on growing as a leader and taking more control offensively this coming season.
Coaches can expect a player who’s humble, smart, and locked into the details. Drew is coachable, adaptable, and always team-first. He thrives in systems built around movement, spacing, and effort, and he plays with a joy and understanding that few in his class can match. He’s fired up by team defense, a shared purpose, and playing the right way. That love for basketball doesn’t stop when the buzzer sounds either; he’s a film junkie, a student of the game, and someone who enjoys traveling, movies, and finding good food in his downtime.
Drew’s ability to stretch the floor, make smart decisions, and bring vocal leadership makes him an asset in any system. He’s a rare mix of size, skill, and selflessness, someone who impacts the game without forcing it. A coach looking for consistency, execution, and winning plays will find everything they need in Drew.
With his growing confidence, strength, and evolving offensive role, Drew is moving toward becoming a highly productive 2/3 with long-term potential. His footwork, IQ, and knockdown shooting make him dangerous already; what’s coming next could be special. He earned those stars and is poised for a breakout season ahead. Stay tuned.
